Have Tattoos Lost Their Badass Image?

Yes. But the good news is the Dumbass Image is still running strong.

trampstamps still mean the same thing they always did.

They lost their badass image the day the first Tweety Bird got inked on a boob.

Badass image???
Nothing says ‘easy’ when a female wears a belly shirt and low pants with a tramp stamp in full view..

Its difficult to be intimidated by a dude with a tramp stamp.

My Catcher and the Rye tattoo is obviously about the book, but a lot of it is also about my family,
I've heard of 'Catcher IN the Rye.' Is she avoiding copyright infringement or is she really tattooing an error into her flesh.

I really get so sick of seeing them.
Everyone from teen hipsters to middle-age women get them.
Why? I have no idea. They look stupid, tacky, and cliched.
For some reason the young folks seem to think that they are going to still have skin and bodies like that when they turn 65. It’s going to be a real horror show in the future seeing old people with that stuff all over them.

Sorry.... didn’t know they ever had one. I’m aware that on they ladies they are termed a “slut stamp”. On guys? I always thought it was some kind of “I’m still in the closet” kind of thing... unless it was on their leg. Then it was “I’m coming out”.

Used to be a tattoo was the mark of a rebel.
Now it's the fashion mark of a conformist sheep.

Wait about 50 years and then go back to all these kids who have tattoos up and down their arms, legs and other parts of their bodies. Ask them to show the tattoos and then ask them if they still feel like “badasses” for having them.

I’ve spent most of my life trying to avoid being pierced by metal objects.
I’ll be damned if I’ll pay to be pierced by one filled with ink.
Just me I guess...

in the case of the tramp stamp, just the “ass” image, but with time, it will drop even lower...

Tattoos are no longer “badass”. They are now just tacky and low class, they used to be all 3.

I would never hire anyone with a tattoo. If they care that little about their own body why should I assume they would care about my business.
Self identified morons. They might as well tattoo a giant “L” on their forehead declaring themselves to be losers.
I have yet to see one on a woman that made her look better.
Just waiting until all the commie Marxists in the dumbocrap party decide that you cannot discriminate be cause of a tattoo. I love how whenever the media wants something to be accepted like gays, or tattoos they simply claim that it is accepted by the "main stream" and nobody but nobody challenges them.

I’ve never seen a tattoo that improved my impression of the wearer’s intelligence or sophistication.

Have Tattoos Lost Their Badass Image? Perhaps, but a tattoo still says "I'M STUPID" like nothing else, and you don't even need to say "Hold My Sign".

I once saw a beautiful and I thought classy young lawyer. She was groomed to perfection; but not in an overdone way. The only problem was when you saw her shoes you also saw a barbed wire tattoo around one of her ankles.
I can’t tell you how that tattoo destroyed her look. Sorry, but she went from class to trash really fast.
