How weird. The actual quote doesn't say short and tubby. And now we get drama-queen responses about "socks" and "sock drawers" ... and how it must hurt to realize that I was pinged to this thread (in a comment that pings Fred too).

The myth has the kenyan and SAD as his parents, they met in Hawaii and blah blah blah...which is exactly what you are saying by accepting every document as gospel and directory entry be it for Ann S Obama, Anna Obama or what-ever. (Except of course the bit about the exotic images, the KGB and Frank Marshall Davis, which I won't let you live down, ever.) You've had it explained to you that the U of WA transcript is a very suspicious document, over and over, but still you persist. Your brain is a fossil. No new information must be allowed to penetrate. It threatens your ego. Poor baby. How many freeperts now is that have asked you to be a little more flexible, or maybe even a little helpful? Right, instead of just admitting you misquoted or misparaphrased it, it’s always easier to call names. But, regardless, what you quoted doesn’t even say “short and chubby” either. She said he wasn’t chubby, but the point I was making was about Obama being short or not. That’s why I asked for the link. The horse picture didn’t give an indication of Obama being short, so I’m wondering who would have said he was short and why. Why does that make you so defensive??

There's something about the words rounded, short little guy that has someone very worried. I wonder why that might be?

By the time he's shown at Punahou, still wearing the same watch, he's had a haircut and looks a little slimmer.

I wonder what his classmate would say had she seen him before he started school, he was somewhat more ‘chubby’ when he was horse riding and standing with Maya at the Golden Gate Bridge. Which brings up an interesting question: if the photographs were taken before he started at Punahou, they probably date from the summer of 1971. And that would indicate Stanley Ann Dunham and her daughter, and Lolo Soetoro all arrived in Hawaii before he started school.
But nowhere are we told that Lolo came to Hawaii and lived with his wife and daughter, that was only discovered when the joint tax return for 1973 came to light.
I think I can imagine why that was never mentioned. Might have looked odd, that zero was living elsewhere and not with ‘mother and stepfather’.
Never fails, does it, one thing just leads to another question...

Looks like it. I think they took a bus trip around the mainland or something...there was an image of him standing against a fence at the Grand Canyon. There's another one of Stanley Ann supposedly with a male relative in the background, she's playing darts and she looks like she's pregnant, but might be just fat.

That's really weird, it has to be from later, she looks ok sitting on the horse and here she is and she's a monster:

So, on a final note, I can’t imagine what all the fuss was about him being chubby or short or rounded and short...what-ever, Lia (the girl who died suddenly) in Indonesia said that when ‘Any’ went to get him after promising her she would bring her a brother, she was disappointed because he was black and fat!
There are lots more questions one can ask. Like, who was he living with when ‘Any’ went to get him, and where was that, and why didn’t we know that Lolo was also in Hawaii (looks like before zero started at Panahou) - but it might explain what Maya meant when she said that her parents were still married although they weren’t living together, they still had a relationship.
Might that have been one way for Lolo to finally obtain permission to live and work in Hawaii?
There’s still so much we might never know.

In 1973, the tax code required a person to be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. resident before they were eligible to be claimed as a dependent.

In 1972, Stanley Ann renewed her U.S. Passport and identified her destination as Indonesia and her purpose of travel was to return “home.”

Obama was not claimed as a dependent of the Soetoro’s 1973 tax return.

You’re theory of the Dunhams claiming Obama as a dependent is based entirely on the false narrative supplied by Obama or his ghost writer in semi-autobiographical fiction novel supplied to the masses to cover-up his ineligibility.
