Since when does a trial balloon become an impeachable offense? When you're employee comes up with a wacko idea, you don't fire (him), you correct him with the 'proper' idea. Michael Savage is just another libertarian blabbermouth who has no 'proper' idea.

Savage proved he was a moron long ago... this is just one more example. He does for the right what Michael Moore does for the left.

At a joint press conference with Mexican President Vicente Fox, Bush warned that his government will not allow the existence in the United States of an underclass of illegal immigrants

Good. That's exactly how the majority of Americans feel.

So... SEND THEM BACK!

Then we won't have a problem of the existence of an illegal underclass any more.

Cheers!

I have to agree with the "enemy within" assessment. It's quite obvious that Bush, Rove, and Fox want open borders and a blanket amnesty for illegal aliens. The only people standing in their way are the proles. I would respect Bush more if he just came out and said it, instead of acting like a used car salesman. Note the use of the term "undocumented" immigrant in the mexico speech. He is up to no good.

In the latest indication President Bush is having problems with his conservative core political constituency, Michael Savage,

HA! Is this a joke? Is there a website loonier than WorldNetDaily? What a bunch of losers.

I share Savage's outrage.

BUT I don't believe impeachment is appropriate in this situation.

Bush and Congress should be deluged with letters and petitions. I will be posting mine at petitiononline this week. There is a petition up there already, but I think mine is worded better, shorter, and more specific. Sign the other one now too, and sign mine later.

Unless the American people rise up in outrage over this proposal we only have ourselves to blame for the politicians complacent and smug attitude on this subject. Write Bush, write your representatives. E-Mailing and phone calls are not as effective as writing a letter - its a more "in your face statement." But backing it up with e-mails and phone calls is good.

Another thing you can do to express your outrage at Bush is to vote in the Republican primary and write in Tom Tancredi for President. That will send a clear message to the apparatchniks in the White House of the specific nature of our anger here. (Tancredi of course has no chance of getting nominated and isn't interested in the position anyway - its the MESSAGE we want to convey.)

If, despite all this, Bush goes through with his program for illegal invaders and those who profit from them, we are faced with a dilemma in November of 2004.

We can stay home and watch one of the nine dwarfs get elected.

We can help Bush reelected

We can vote for a conservative third party candidate who has no chance of getting elected (in effect handing the Nation over to one of the nine dwarfs for the next four years who probably support this effort anyway.)

Those are my thoughts - for what they are worth.

Sit back and listen to the "bush at any cost" crowd come out now.

Impeachment for betrayal is valid IMHO. He's aiding and abetting Criminals by wanting to make their presence in this country legal.

That falls under High Crimes and Misdameanors.

Do all this under Executive Order and tell the Courts to back off. This is national security!

Anyone else find this line incredibly scary?

I used to think that Savage was intertaining until he made the comment that "a modern day Aircraft Carrier was nothing more that a floating welfare state where female sailors used getting pregnet as an excuse to get out of the Navy" or something to that effect. As a 30 year Navy Vet I took exception to his comment and will not listen to him anymore.

He said it could help illegal immigrants "leave the shadows and have an identity."

Memo to Jr.: they have an identity. Criminal. Help them "leave the shadows", and begin deportation.

What an idiot. Clinton could not be removed in spite of THINGS he has DONE. Savage wants Bush removed because of A PLAN he has PROPOSED.

Pinhead-with-a-mike alert!
