I got Springsteen's box set when I was a senior in high school. There's a part where he talks about how he and his friends got drunk and didn't sleep for a few days before showing up for a medical exam (during the Nam draft) and managed to get declared unfit to serve. Lost my respect for him. Put him right next to all the other draft dodgers. He just did it without going to Canada.
