BB King was just asked about political comments during the war and he said "I think that there are going to be alot of things said tonight that I don't agree with."
Way to go B.B!

We saw the Rolling Stones 3 times ('94, '98, '99).

Just curious. I play golf with a Charlie McCann from Manlius.

Unfortunately, Born in the USA is an Anti-American song. Bruce was angry when people started using it as a Pro-American theme song. It's even said by some that the album cover of Born in the USA (which shows his butt with the flag behind it) is actually him p!ssing on the flag...
I found out about this stuff when I was young and never bought another Bruce album.

They haven't had anything really that good since their "Black" album. That was about ten years ago I don't even think Black was that good. "And Justice for all" was their last really good one IMO.

Oh, I knew that. I was just glad to say "I'm not watching it" yet one more time.
Hey, I said it again!
I'm not watching it.
He-he!
Don't mind me, folks. I'm still giddy from yesterday's FReep!

I took my son to Metallica at the Ga Dome, and Lars was sick, so there was to be a make up concert. I was going to take a "Napster Rules" banner the 2nd time and hang it off the balcony from our 1st row club level seats. Then they went and did a pair of make up concerts at Lakewood Amphitheater, and there went that idea out the window.

Strange world when the #1 rapper is a white guy.
And the #1 golfer is a black guy.

YEP .. but what's awful is this song that's playing now You call that a song? It used to be that songs would always bring back memories of where we were the first time we heard them -- music we could sing and dance to. Rap does not and will not ever fit into a 'musical' category, regardless of how much my son tries to convince me otherwise.

Perfect description - I couldn't think of one as it was just beyond words.

Getting there, but don't let her hear you or she'll burn your house down. :)

Springsteen & Eminem the only entertainers tonite with any emotion.
Springsteen sounds like he is singing in the crapper and Eminem is c-rapping and calling it singing.

I spent some time in Mazatlan with the Mexican Navy and was impressed by the people. They are up early exercising, they work hard, believe in the free market and are fun to be around at night. I never felt more welcome in a foreign country including England (okay, maybe Australia).

I am so glad the Foo Fighters didn't get political. I surely want to keep liking them.Me too, they're one of the best bands working these days.
I don't think I've ever heard Dave Grohl get political, and I appreciate the hell out of him for that. He just keeps his yap shut and makes great music.
