To: grannie9
Thanks Gran, I needed that. They're talking about yet another winter weather event here this week.

How's your roof?
To: grannie9
Things calmed down a bit after our adventures with the bucket brigade on Saturday.
We are still waiting for a call back from the contractor, who is well aware of this continuing problem. If I don't hear back from him soon, his next contact will be from my lawyer.

Did you have an inside damage?
We had to call the plumber for my daughters house yesterday too. She had a leak in the pipe from her furnace tho. Luckily in the cellar.. So far no flooding in her cellar from the melting snow tho..but she usually gets some every spring.
To: habs4ever

No damage yet...the leak is in the kitchen, in the ceiling above the sliding glass door leading out to the deck.
The wood seems to have swollen, making it difficult to slide the door open. I don't know if this is permanent or temporary at this point.
It's always something....

I am amazed that Great White is still touring and that they are able to draw crowds. They were awful back in the 80's...

Wow.. that waterfall looks like spun-sugar.. Beautiful, Westy..

The joys of ownership. You should have my cranky 300 year old doors.. Our side door always swelled, but I think we may have finally fixed the drip edge. Not too attractive but very good dripping wise.. ;)
Now if we could just fix a few more 'drips' we know about.. ;)
To: grannie9
We cannot save the world, Gran. *sigh*
To: Kathleen; habs4ever
but could we start with Habs? ;)
To: grannie9; habs4ever
I don't see why not...if he agrees to sign appropriate release papers holding us harmless...;-)
To: Darksheare
We found it, it was somewhat bigger than most pebbles on the walk. It has a gray sheen to it, like a 50 caliber bullet.

Urgh... sounds like a fly-in-the-ointment to me..
He would never agree that we're harmless..
Maybe there's step two? ;)
