I went to the Heart Hospital - nothing going on there, and then to Bill & Christine's for a meeting of the VRWC folks, then to Mrs.L's brother for a birthday dinnner. Full day here.

You're right - the blue's good, but some contrast is called for. Personalize - it's starting to look like a Motel6 project.

Rest up a day or so, and then rejoin the fray.

A teacher asked her young pupils how they spent their vacation.

One child wrote the following:

We always spend our vacation with Grandma and Grandpa.

They used to live here in a big, brick house, but Grandpa got retarded and they moved to Florida and now they live in a place with a lot of other retarded people.

They live in a tin box and have rocks painted green to look like grass. They ride around on big tricycles and wear name tags because they don't know who they are anymore.

They go to a building called a wrecked center, but they must have got it fixed because it is all right now. They play games and do exercises there, but they don't do them very well.

There is a swimming pool too, but they all jump up and down in it with their hats on.
I guess they don't know how to swim.
At their gate there is a dollhouse with a little old man sitting in it. He watches all day so nobody can escape. Sometimes they sneak out. Then they go cruising in their golf carts.

My grandma used to bake cookies and stuff, but I guess she forgot how. Nobody there cooks, they just eat out. And they eat the same thing every night: Early Birds.

Some of the people can't get past the man in the dollhouse to go out, so the ones who get out bring food back to the wrecked center and call it pot luck.

My Grandma says Grandpa worked all his life to earn his retardment and says I should work hard so I can be retarded one day, too.

When I earn my retardment I want to be the man in the doll house. Then I will let people out so they can visit their grandchildren.

Good morning all. We're shuffling furniture and playing twister with things.. I'm getting pretty tired now..and we're far from finished yet.

Ohhhhhhh what a mess.. I don't think it will ever look right.. I'd rather move.. :(

How goes the battle of the furniture rearranging?

My back has had it.. OMG... Other than my desk we have all the furniture where it's going. We took out the sexual sofa.. (we never used it, lol) but I have all the knick knacks, walls and china cabinet left to do yet.

This stuff is heavy, and we've moved it and moved it. NOw I have holes everywhere, and we still need another rug.

Oh.. I don't think I care anymore today.. I've had the meat, and it wasn't swingin.. ;(

Have a cocktail with lunch and take a nap. You've been through enough today. Everything will be there when you feel like dealing with it again. :-(

We still have this desk and puter to move.. I am just doing a little here and there now.. Of course the kitchen table and counter tops are filled with glassware that has to be washed and put back yet..but I think I'll deal with that tomorrow.

You're right.. A couple drinks later, put the boots to the hot spa and relax this evening.

No more heavy duty stuff the rest of the day.. unless we end up moving this desk.. Depends on him.. I can't believe he got that big sexual out with the two heavy recliner ends by himself.. Good thing Dean had a dolly..that helped a lot..
