What goodies did you buy for the kitchen? Inquiring minds want to know...;-)

Hi grannie,
You might say I'm a bit jealous of your freedom and I'm looking forward to when I can enjoy some semi-retirement. Until then I have to work because I've got a few customers dependent on me, and it is a case of having training/talent/love all come together in something profitable.
I have a fellow travelling to Taiwan today because they have bought a considerable quantity of software and need a few things added to their program.
I can't believe it is Monday and I never made it back to the Mac to try uploading pictures. Love to see yours though.
Cheers.

Better you be swamped with work than reading magazines all day like the Maytag repairman ;-)

I bought a Pizza Pan to put the Pizza on, that I take out of the Pizza Oven, and a Pizza cutter to cut the Pizza while in the Pizza Pan, right after I take it from the PIzza Oven and put it on the Pizza Pan..
I bought eight almost genuine wooden salad bowls with an almost genuine large bowl to hold the salad.. The salad will be genuine, the almost genuine wooden salad bowls will not be.
I bought a carrot/potato parer for peeling real carrots and very seldom potatoes, some squeeze tongs for turning chicken, and any other rubber type thing when needed, etc.
A flour/sugar scoop.. genuine metal, for scooping my sugar/flour into my almost genuine glass measuring cups.
All this for the almost real food I cook in my kitchen with my almost genuine electric appliances, in my almost real genuine house on the damned phony canal..
LOL.. see how I shop?
I went out looking for a center/service Isle and cookie tins and came home with that.
I should be killed....!

You have to work hard and long, so you can lay around a lot later.
Or, if you're a woman, you have to work hard and long, so you can work just as hard and long later.. ;)
If you're lucky, someone, like yourself, will make you a nice cocktail once in a while.. (after the kitchen is cleaned up.) ;)))

Is it sunset for you already? I love that time of day when the sun gets under the clouds. Here it turns the mountains a lovely pink when the rest of the valley is in dusk.
We are having a storm set in, should drop 2 feet up in the mountains.
Cheers.

Yeah.. but the car we went in was a phony.. Someday we're going to buy a real car, so I can buy real things to put in the real trunk in the real car.
Before that I'm going to kill one real husband for half-cooking the real frozen strip steaks in the half genuine Micro-wave. I just had to half-cook them in the almost-real teflon frying pan to save some of the genuine goodness that was almost grossly melted out of them.. The only thing that will make them seem real again, is a genuine frying in a almost real Teflon frying pan with lots of genuine Lemon Pepper. They are partially almost genuinely cooked and I will finish cooking them later when it's almost time for a real genuine cocktail.
If he lives until then, I will be genuinely amazed..

ROTFLMAO...I genuinely almost choked on my coffee over that one. ;-)
Sounds like you'll be ready for a genuine cocktail tonight after Al's latest cooking fiasco...still doesn't beat the genuine Drunken Chicken escapade, though. ;-)

Nope. I had nothing to do with it, though it DID give me some ideas.

Dang BigFella whazzup? It's way early for nippling - isn't it?
Let's get it right with those strips. Have you purchased your Allegro Hot & Spicey marinade yet? You will never regret it.
