No hurry, I"m sure they're having a blast.. ;)
Some people just looove hanging around..
To: grannie9
Well, this gal's been threatening to call her mentor. A seriously demeneted chap by the moniker of 'pipeboy'.
'Course, she didn't complain about watching Monty Python at all.
Well, not true, she complained about me pausing the movie.
Why are people so demented?
To: Darksheare
What people are demented? I don't know any demented people... How come you do?
To: grannie9
Alas, they are my neighbors.
That's how. And I feel the less for it.
I come here for teh normalcy of it all.
To: grannie9
My sister is waving a glowing branding iron around and asking "What neighbors?"...
She's also quoting "Pirates of Penzance"..
As well as several other things like "Forsooth" and "Hark!"
Used in, "Hark! A wall speaks to me!" and "Forsooth, he smoteth the floor with his face mightily!"
And to think she grew up being treated as a little brother..
She wants to get Suzanna Hoffs' album "When You're a Boy" to torment me with.
And the Frenchman that assaulted the ice with his backside while figureskating was fairly amusing. (The smoteing comment was about him..)
I feel particularly sorry for someone who messes with her.
To: Darksheare
She doesn't have a chance in your hell.. Poor girl.. sigh...
I have been playing Doom.. I can't believe it's still in DOS.. I got stuck already.. Guess I'll quit until I'm less tired..
Good night poor thing.. You must go haunt some other threads.. The wicked witch on this one is calling it a night.. ;)
Your a good lad.. but odd.. smooooooooooooch
To: grannie9
Okers. Take care of yourself.
Doom in the boxed set comes with it's "Doom 95" windows mode.
Interesting, but sometimes makes the system hang.
I'll haunt here for a bit further. Might find someone else to amuse.
She'll find someone with as wierd a sense of humor as us.
And then I'm DOOMED.
I admit to being odd. But, childhood wasn't all fun and games, admittedly. There was also running and screaming, and people in abject terror. And that was just getting to school or on a hike through the woods.
I'll let you rest up.
Fun can wait.

A hearty good morning to all and sundry and to those who pass through....
To: habs4ever; Darksheare
Good morning Sweety-Pie. A hearty good morning to you too.
LOL.. that's just about when I got up this morning, but I didn't take that pic then.
I am just getting ready to put Sugar Cookies in the oven. I am soooo far behind on my yobs.. Too much play lately and not enough work..
Ahhhhhhhhhh, pass thru what? Has Darks been here? ;)
To: grannie9
Darks is a hologram, part of the ether in the ether of the internet. He'll tell you himself ;-)
To: habs4ever; Darksheare
He may tell us, but will we understand?
Are you cooking and spinning, hon?
To: grannie9; Darksheare; All
Once upon a time before we moved to our current office space, we had a networked version of Doom. On Friday nights we would all hit the local watering hole for dinner, then retire back to the office so the guys could kill each other playing Doom. They conferenced their phones together so they could scream and yell as they stalked each other. It was quite hysterical to watch.
To: Kathleen
Good morning Kathy. I missed you yesterday..:+ (that's a smoooch);)
I just got the free download of Doom. I don't think it's running right, as I've only found a few bad guys to do in so far. I will have to try another game in there.
I do love my golf tho, but I haven't gotten into the big time yet. I"m still working on par or under.. he he he...
To: habs4ever; grannie9
Actually, I'm figment of someone's imagination made real.
Whether my own imagination or not remains to be seen.
No, I haven't been here yet.
To: grannie9
I multitask, baby! I am waiting for the glare to subside before resuming watching Lord of the Rings on tape, and then its off to a big family party in Toronto tonight.Normally, I end up shucking oysters at this shindig, but this yr, I've been saved. No oysters, thank god!
To: habs4ever
Ohhh, great... have a wonderful time..and stay sober..(riiiiightt...)
