*Sigh* I guess that I'll start gaming about the same time that I start taking digital pics, though I thoroughly enjoyed reading your conversation.
We're trying to get ready for guests: Christine and Bill, and our b.i.l. who had the bout with pancreatic cancer and Pam's sister. The bil looks great, says he feels fine, and thanks everyone who held him up in their thoughts and prayers. I guess that miracles can still happen.
We going peasant, as usual, with shrimp coctail appetizer, grilled prime tenderloin of beef, Mixed green salad, crusty french bread and butter, and Christine is bringing her and Mo's famous cake for dessert.
Have a super evening everyone.

trust me. If you copy and paste the info into notepad, when you do finally get to gaming it'll be there. Like I said, I recommend Half-Life.
And the soundtrack can be MP3'd as well.
Half-Life, Opposing Force, and Blue Shift have soundtracks.
I don't have Blue Shift yet.

My sister is pointedly staring at me and humming.
She says that is a horrible thing to say about in laws: "crusty french bread and butter".
My sister has gone over the deep end, and I pushed.
She pulled.
(My in laws are crusty polish bread, but that's a different story.)
Good to hear he's okay.

Half life seems very complicated.. I don't know if I"m up to that.. I didn't see any cd's with TV or Doom. I'll have to keep looking. I'd rather have the cd too. My son always yells at me when I pay for downloads. Even with the CD burner.. something can always go wrong so they don't copy right.. That's why I just had to buy a new virus and firewall. :(

Have a wonderful time Loddy.. Glad to hear that your BIL is doing well.. Sounds like a good meal.
I'm making Beef Tenderloin Stir-Fry tonight. I'm wokin the dog.. ;)

You and your sister and Kaeren should have your own reality show - I know I'd pay to view.
A super evening to whomever is there, bound and gagged or not.

I've never attempted stir-frying stuff. It must be simple if so many asians can do it.
Yep - we are ALWAYS better off having the CD's on hand. And tell the kid to show some respect and stop yelling at you. ;-)

Actually, HL isn't all that complicated.
It's just annoying to get the thing set up to do what you want.
After that, it's easy to play.
Loddy, a reality show with my sister, my cat, and myself would end up being BANNED in the US. As well as any sane country.
Bound and gagged? Oh, my curtains aren't begging to be let go. But the furniture is.
To: grannie9
There was a game featuring Harleys. Offhand, can't rememebr teh name. But you could use a vintage hog and do drift turns. And run down any stray animals....

LOL LOL.. you're sicker than me, thank goodness..;)

Actually, the couch is now trying to crawl away. My sister is beaning it in it's head with a cricket bat while it's begging to be let go. I was twisting it's leg.
Be back ina minute. The cofee table is in mutiny.
To: grannie9
Yes. But set your Norton to scan it after it's fully downloaded.
And that's all the codes. ];-) you're almost set fro blast-o-rama.
Oh, did you hear that Doom III is almost out? It's a re-telling of the original story, the way that they wanted to.
To: grannie9
Well.. there's a mod for Half-Life where you can hunt teh scientists down and kill them. And you get to use a hammer and a chainsaw as well.
"They didn't quite predict all of it."
(The scientists in the game tell you that they predicted all of the disaster in the original HL...)
To: Darksheare
Yes.. I saw Doom 111. It's expensive.
Hmmm.. new virus-scan. Will have to check out how to do that first..
To: grannie9
Under Anti-Virus proper you can tell it to scan a single file or folder. You can have it scan the whole download folder, or tell it to scan individual files within the folder. Under the "scan for Viruses" options. Scan folders and scan files are the last two options.
(2003 isn't all that dif from 2001. Just better and faster execution of it's tasks.)
To: grannie9
My system won't run Doom 3. It's too big a proggy. I'd need an Athlon and a G-Force 4 to get a good enough framerate to make it worth getting.
To: Darksheare
Ok.. I think I've gotcha.. ;)
To: grannie9
Must you pinch? *rib rib. poke poke.*
To: Darksheare
A pinch to grow an inch... ;)
