I didn't get to any musuems, alas, as people watching and window shopping was much more entertaining. The way they decorate their stores is even a work of art.One thing about them Eye-Ties, is that they are amazing colourists and the the eye gets a treat.

So, got your snook catching garb all ready to go? You finally going to hook a local manatee this year? ;-)

I hear that Zeppelin is comin'' back!! Now, you finally have an excuse to take that pottery course from the Learning Annex just in case you're needed ;-)Mind you, this time out, owing to their advanced age, the plaster may not set as well ;-)

I better go dust off some old Zep bootlegs i have, like the last show they did, appropriately called "Zeppelin Over Berlin 1980".Catchy title, huh?? lol

I ate lots of artichokes, raddichio and figs, along with apricots. The veggies were great in Florence, and so was the prok too, along with wabbit ;-)Milnas food was more international, and cream sauce based, and since I don't really enjoy pasta, stuck to the grilled meats more.

LOL LOL...I saw Page/Plant in 1995 and left my plaster at home...I was too busy swooning to practice my art, anyway. ;-) They still had it going on back then, I'm sure they still do now.

Ate Belgian staples, mussels, in Lux City, and a delish wild mushroom soup with cognac that was heavenly.I think they add dill to really improve the flavour. And breakie wouldn't be breakie without a cheese and meat platter.Parma ham, a small piece of pecorino and some gooey St Andre with toast points, along with melon, figs and even...prunes...made me a happy camper.Oh, and cafe au lait, tons of it ;-)

If Page can stay sober, then the Zep tour could be great.I bet it was the death of John Entwistle that spurred this move, as The Who's manager also manages Zep, and Plant was on tour this summer with The Who and it went very well.May as well go out and entertain all the fans that want to see them while they still can enjoy themselves, coz after all, they are in showbiz and their job is to play. The last tour they did they played for 3 hrs a night, so if they can find the stamina, the tour will be something else :-)

Last I heard, Page got married and had a child so maybe he's settled down some. Saw him solo during his Outrider tour (1988? groan), sat in the 7th row at the Cap Center and had to hang onto the chair in front of me during "Dazed and Confused". He was awesome. Is John Paul Jones definite for this tour? I'm sure they'll play somewhere in this area, I might have to go. ;-)

Oh yeah, Jones is on board, as is Jason Bonham on drums.Though, he isn't very good, sad to say. They ought to recruit Ringo's son,Zak, the guy playing with what's left of The Who...now, he's a fine drummer. You'll be there ;-)

I don't think that Jason Bonham is a bad drummer. Saw him at the old Hammerjacks in Baltimore when he was on his Disregard of Timekeeping tour. He's not his father, but I thought he was still good.

Also saw Robert Plant during every solo tour he made through this area in the early-mid 90's. Yeah, you're right, I'll be there. When do tickets go on sale? lol
