That dog looks mighty frightened of the camera.
To: Darksheare
Hi Dark.. where have you been, out walking in the dark? Sorry, I've been wrestling with some food.. How is everything, and how have you been?
To: Darksheare
Maybe the dog is camera shy. Cute, tho.

Sipping wine this evening...I try to save Jack for weekends or *really bad days*...lol
To: Kathleen
I am completely sober.. I wonder if I can get in a sip of something before I get into the stew? Just a taste for the hard day I've had.. lol lol lol..
What the hell.. why not.. The stew will keep. ;)

Oh.. I did get that fmail.. Wow, how sad..
To: grannie9
She's been through so much in a short period of time. I hope she's okay.

Got my tube pan today. Later in the week when I do a commando raid on the grocery store, I'll get the fixings for your carrot cake. ;-) I'll make it this weekend.
To: Kathleen
My ghod yes. So much in just the last few months and now this. Some poor people seem to get more than their share..but boy does it give them character...
To: Kathleen
Some pretty White Birches.
Oh great. Good luck with it.. I should make one more before I leave.. Al really loves it..
To: grannie9
Beautiful, Gran. We don't have white birches here. :-( When I was a kid our yard was full of them.

Amen to Mom's mail - that's a bunch to have to deal with, but if anyone can, she can. God bless and keep you Mom.
We miss you.

I'm really going to miss my computer room here. I have my TV and some privacy, and Al has his own puter. Worst of all is the puter down there is old and not fast like this one. I did add more memory and gigs tho before I left. The cable there is not as reliable as ATT here either. Oh well..I guess I'll survive.. (what a b!itch..lol)
To: Kathleen
I have one little scraggly one up front..but I do love them too.. There is a place up north that is just all White Birches.. It is gorgeous.. A long road and town.. I can't remember the name of it, but what a drive that is in the fall...
To: lodwick
Are you all set for Mrs. L's return?
To: grannie9
Actually, been trudging around during the day. This time, trying to track down the layout of an old coppermine in New Jersey.
It's the very devil to get around the place. There's steep ravines all over. And some of the mining was done in said steep ravines. So on Saturday, I finally successfully found some of the boreholes I've been told about. Only found five, but I've got the feeling that there are more. Took some pictures, just need to finish the roll of film and get them developed now. (Shoulda borrowed dad's digital..)
How badly has the food wrestling gone? I've never gotten it to go my way yet, but then again.. the possessed meatloaf was pretty funny.

We most certainly do miss you Mom.. Please come back to us all well, happy and bushy-tailed with some great stories of your vacation...
We'll be waiting... smooooch..
To: grannie9
Going backwards with computers is such a b!tch. As long as you can get here, that's all that counts. ;-)
Our street had so many birches on it, it was named Birchfield Drive. :-)
