THat sounds like the dogs and the cat here. In the middle of the night the cat will swat one or the other dog and RUN down the hallway, trying to convince them to chase her. It doesn't work very often, they're too busy trying to sleep.

I believe all animals can get along when they are under the same roof. Either get along or "tolerate" one another!
One year, I found a 6 week kitten outside the house. Brought it in, and we had 3 other older cats. I didn't want to lock the kitten in the bathroom, but I had to get to WORK. So, I said "Well, they will all just have to get along," and I left. Hoping for the best.
By the time I got home, they were all EATING together. The Kitten had the run of the house. LOL! So, it works out, usually. Brought one cat home from the shelter, and it attacked us so bad that we had to take it back.
It was an older cat, and we figured that it had been beaten by humans and just had no use for them.....pity

That is probably true. When I brought Zippy the Pinhead home (at 6 weeks. Was he ever adorable.) Quatorze (the cat) was, shall we say, less than impressed. Within a week, she was sleeping with him in his closet while I was busy.
Zoot (my brother's dog) moved in here in January with Darryl, and once again, 'Torzie was less than impressed. Now, they act more like "The Three Stooges" than the mortal enemies they are supposed to be.

Oh God. I have been uploading pictures as I was posting here. All of a sudden it stopped. I did a ping, and then thought I should reboot. But it must be them. DAMN!
