AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 594) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | September 6, 2002 | All of Us

Posted on 09/06/2002 4:04:17 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]

Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

Fox News is reporting some of the intelligence offered to Congress yesterday details that Saddam is dangerously close to actually producing nuclear weapons.

Additionally, there is intelligence that Saddam was in contact with Al Qa'eda both before and after the attacks upon America on September 11, 2001.

Fox News is also reporting the military has moved equipment from Qatar to Kuwait, adding the Pentagon is saying this is a routine movement to test equipment in the event the President orders war preparations against Iraq.

Meanwhile, admitting no access to intelligence about Iraq, the previous occupant of the Office of the President said the United States should not go after Saddam, but remain focused on The Evil One.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Good morning! I believe that they had this information shortly after 9/11, possibly from Russian sources. I also believe that we were not ready to go after Iraq, and so the information was not released.

Now we are ready.

The "Best of the Web" is citing this source about the possibility of a "ruthless" Supreme Court:
Less than a month before the term is to begin, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, citing health concerns, will announce her retirement on Monday morning.

We've been listening to the "let Bush make the case for an attack" bunch long enough, knowing that nothing will really satisfy them. Now France is saying that there shouldn't be a public displaying of Iraq's military secrets. Do they know something? It will be sweet when the evidence is finally presented and the Democrats will have to actually make a decision.

Morning, GC! I'm now ready for my second cup....of tea!

I just took my anti-nausea medicine. I'm eating something starchy and in about twenty or thirty minutes from now I start quinine. I am anticipating the next four days in la-la land. I've already called in a sub for Monday and Tuesday with the possibility of Wednesday as well. This is not going to be fun.

Mozie, I feel as if I let you down. I didn't see your post until about lunch time when you had already signed off. And then I read backwards, from my ping upwards. I'm sorry. I'm praying that when you get to the airport things will work a lot smoother than you anticipate.

I'm very interested in the TS which has suddenly popped up in the gulf threatening Galveston. The western part of the island has no sea wall to protect it.....low lying marshes, nature areas. The eastern end has the sea wall of course, but is developed.

Good Morning all! Waiting here on the MS Gulf Coast to see which of the two storms in the Gulf may or may not pose problems for us!

Mr. Mulliner - I beleive that our President has set a RAT trap and is slowly closing the noose (and by now, they don't have much breathing room left!). I found these excerpts from a NY Post article by Deborah Orin interesting:

Some Democrats privately fume that the vote looks like Bush's "October surprise," since it could help the GOP - but they can hardly complain since it was Democrats who kept demanding a vote all summer.

Another delicate problem for Democrats is that the vote could split their party on racial lines. It is expected to pass easily, but most black House members are expected to vote "no."

Looks like we can take care of two problems at once - Removing SoDamned Insane from power (and existance on this planet) and further exposing the RATs for the anti-american b@stards they are.

AND IT IS A GOOD A.M. TO ALL FROM THE MS GULF COAST, USA!!!!

So, congress has been told ole SayDamn is getting closer to building a nuke so, congress not impressed, they want SayDamn to walk into a joint session, tell them himself, to them thats proof. But then again, if he promises not to use them on the USA that will be OK. Its a crying shame when there are people who are running our government who puts their party over the wellfare of our country, the saftety of this nation.

There are a lot out in this vast nation of freepers who will, or who are, facing earth shaking problems today, we sit there wringing our hands, 'what to do, what to do, I don't know what I am going to do, its all over'. Is it really? Tell you what I do, I close my eyes and look on that Bibical battlefield so many years ago and see just a wee lad standing before this giant armed with only a sling shot looking at me saying 'you think you got problems?' He reaches down, picks up a stone and kills the giant simply because he had God on his side, guiding him through this battle. God is there handing you a stone when you have real bad problems telling you to go on, slay your trobles for 'I am with you'.

gd called just a bit ago, 'PawPaw, I just GOT to have 50 cents' ummmm, speck she knows this ole man has lots of 50 cents for her at any time she needs them? Its amazing how grandkids can wrap you aroung their little finger.

so, its off for cup # 3 then take gd to school, isn't it a shame to be put through such tough task? Prayers for all with special needs, to keep all free from accidents and sickness and for OUR President W, a man in need of lots of prayers as he has the worlds problems on his shoulders and for the elderly always there for you with a sweet, plesant smile on our faces. Have a good day, please make it a point to have a good day.

Good morning Chairman and ALL you wonderful people.

Molly,Do I really seem that impertubable???

Well...I certainly would call you a level headed thinker. Good morning.

Getting back to one of your questions about Atkins...I have read where BP has been lowered. My husband's total health improved...bp, cholestrol, energy, etc.

I just read this as part of the intro to another thread. I thought it was good.

A NEW Jersey joke: "Why do people take an instant dislike to Sen. Robert Torricelli? To save time."

America – The Right Way!!
The Daily Update – September 6, 2002

REMEMBER THE TRADE CENTER!!

AMERICA’S WAR ON TERROR – Day 361

The news as reported in The Washington Times:

[Note – All links go to The Washington Times’ website.]

1. Senators get what they term a “troubling” briefing about Iraq.

[Yes, but Senator I’ll Do Anything to Thwart the President’s Agenda Including Endangering the Nation raised the spectre of VietNam in his discussions with the media.]

Congressmen get 'troubling' briefing

2. An individual dressed himself up in the uniform of the new Afghan army, obtained a weapon, located the Afghan leader’s limousine, and fired a round at the car. President Karzai was missed, but only narrowly.

[Afghanistan is still a dangerous place. I wonder how many of these cretins are being backed by the Axis of Evil.]

Karzai escapes assassination

3. The Pentagon is considering a war scenario that would depart from the normal WWII doctrine of build first then strike that America has followed for decades. Concern is that media attention to Saddam would cause him to understand any military buildup was aimed directly at him, and he would act. Continued strikes, with air power, upon vital installations during a buildup is of interest to the military.

[Yes, something to consider if you believe your opponent has WMDs and the means to deliver them.]

Pentagon considers a hit before buildup

4. Next week there will be re-enactment of the bloodiest battle on American soil, the Battle of Antietam.

[Most interesting, and somewhat sad, is the corporate sponsorship angle. Three companies are sponsoring specific skirmishes. “Good afternoon, this skirmish is being brought to you by ABC Corp.” Next it will be the ABC Corp Skrimish, then, like stadiums, they’ll rename historical battles.]

The Blue, the Gray -- and the green

5. Washington area schools are planning a variety of memorial activities for September 11, 2002.

[Appropriate.]

Lesson plans a 'memorial'

6. The University of the District of Columbia is spending less than half the National average for providing education and research to undergraduate students – and its not that it is being economical.

[It wouldn’t matter if they were spending twice the National average. The school is flat out so horrible I would not wish for even my worst enemy to have to go there. It is the pits. Shut it down.]

Undergrad students shorted at UDC

7. “[The junior Senator from New York] has changed her coiffure, and her new 'do was introduced at a Washington labor rally yesterday. The blond locks are now drawn back from her face, revealing the serene brow and knowing smile of a goddess in pearls, with Palm Pilot.”

[BARF!! And it is REALLY ugly. Staffers are calling it the “coin” look saying it is as a style used for portraits on coinage.]

Much ado about a 'do

We shall not rest until we have cut a swath 60-miles wide through the entire left - taking all that is before us with us as we go. We shall leave nothing to the enemy that may be of value to him. We shall show him that he may count on nothing and will be able to keep nothing, not his spirit, not his soul, not that upon which he shall feed. We shall not cease until the moment we have rent through their entire land and have arrived at the sea, with our glorious victory upon us.
