We bought a new Navaho urn, and some other stuff. I picked up a pair of genuinne leather moccasins from the Navaho store on the reservation. Very comfortable. We also bought a Sioux vase later in the trip, when we were in South Dakota.

I just talked to my brother who said that his son is at home and not doing too badly. It was a jeep that hit him and he (my nephew) was going about 65 when he got hit. He was headed from Colorado to Nebraska and only got about 5 miles away so I would say that he was lucky it didn't happen along some major stretch of open highway in between the two places and end up hours from anyone he knew.
