Funny thing about 'Satin Dreams"... I don't use models. They all wimp out when they find out that a Man is doing the drawing. (My onlt stipulation with potential models is that they have to be able to sit still. How hard can that be?)
So, I draw from my head. And sometimes the drawing comes out, and sometimes it doesn't.

Monestaries won't take me, I'd be too busy chasing the nuns out in the yard.

hi andysmom
I appreciate your ''rant''
I like hearing how others see things and I learned from your post
I placed perfect faith in George Bush, else I wouldn't have campaigned for him the way I did
I took it hard, when he chose to sweep the clinton corruption under carpet
I don't regret how idealistic I was
I like being idealistic
Love, Palo

I am told, recently, that having one's blood pressure do a dip like yours and mine does can actually be dangerous. Something about the brain not getting as much blodd volume as it normally would, thus less oxygen, thus possible damage.

Don't know about that, I've been experiencjing this for years with no ill effect..
Now where did my clothes go?

Seriously though, hear anything about this?

On a lighter note...I have been meaning to ask this question for several days now, and I just keep forgetting...fortunately, the commercial that concerns me, just came on TV just now, so will explain....

This commercial is supposed to be for something called 'Enzyte' a 'Male Enhancement' product...there are two different commercials and they are so funny, and so lame, and they are so bad, that I think whoever produced them, meant for them to be so funny, lame and bad...

In the first commercial there are two couples enjoying each others company...the one couple seems to be on happy terms with each other, but the other couple, we are given to understand are unhappy with the males 'sexual member size'...the man is seen eating an appetizer, and believe it or not, its a little tiny Vienna weiner, those tiny weiners you can buy in the can, 7 to the can....the man looks at that weiner and frowns...then we see his wife(or sex partner, chose which you wish), look at her vienna weiner, and she also frowns...its just so dang lame and silly and ridiculous....

Then the one happy male friend, tells his unhappy male friend about 'Enzyte'...the unhappy man makes the phone call to order Enzyte...next scene...the four of them are in some sort of a happy Conga line, dancing away, wearing stupid looking clothing, with silly smiles, and the formerly unhappy male is now said to be happy, because he is 'living large'....that just cracks me up...

The other commercial shows the potent fella on Enzyte, beating the tar out of his golfing partners, all somehow attributed to his prowess in the bedroom, provided all by Enzyte...they even show his dippy wife, with her dippy smile, holding a drink, and stating that he has his happy partner waiting for him in the clubhouse...

These commercials are just so funny...'living large' remarks, silly stupid grins on the actors, really lame dippy clothes, all make for some good laughs...

I am half tempted to order this stuff, wondering if the advertisement on the product is as funny as their commercials are...

No, I have never been told that this happening was dangerous....the main danger, was that if I got up to quickly from a resting position, that I could pass out and bang my head....so I just been told to get up, very slooooowly....

Tho, my blood pressure has risen over the years to a more normal level, and since then, I have not had problems....

However, your blood pressure level is much lower than mine ever was....Since your doctor would know about how low your normal blood pressure reading is, I would assume that he would be the best one to advise you about it...

Its wonderful to be idealistic, but that idealism, to me anyway, must always be tempered with cynicism, and distrust...

BigDom trusts no one on faith alone.....people have to work hard to earn his trust, because he approaches those he does not know, with full cynicism...Sometimes I think that mistrust comes, because of having been abandoned by his mom when he was a baby...its something like, if you cannot trust your own mom, trusting others comes hard...

On the other hand, his cynicism is sometimes hard on him(tho self inflicted), because he would prefer that life in general and people in general, would conform to how he idealizes that the world should be....so he is often at odd with himself...

Never give up your idealism, but be ready to have it dumped on from time to time...for humans are imperfect, and do imperfect things...

hi sweetie
I find your thoughtful posts interesting
I took it hard about George Bush, but I bit the bullet all at once
(the day Bob Ray let slick willy skate, which was right before Bush's Inauguration)
Don't forget, at one time I was a clinton supporter
I was totally taken in by him
I try to be fair, my admiration for Lucianne standing up for Linda Tripp is undimmed
I think Lucianne is a heroine of the Universe
but I think she banned posters to solve her server overload problems
which is an unpleasant thing to do
she did not admit the reason, and instead said it was to stop flame wars
I think she believed her own story, so she could be happier with her decision
I read in a new age book ''being perfect doesn't mean never making a mistake
it means not knowingly making a mistake''
rofl by that definition 99% of us are perfect
(with the exception of slick willy and the Dems in Senate who voted to keep him in power)
Love, Palo

HUMONGODom....Loddy...thats just hilarious...next time this commercial is on, let me see if they give a price(if its not too high, it might really be worth it, just to grab a look).....

If there is no price given, I know there is a phone number to call....

This requires thorough investigation...

Loddy....that Texas type Chicken Fried Steak looks toooo wonderful....

Now, I have never been in Texas, except for once when we were driving west, when I was a kid, and we just drove across the upper portion for a few miles...I think my dad did that, just to be able to say that we were actually in Texas, and mom could put it on her list of states we had been in...so no worthwhile time was spent there, mores the pity....

In fact, I never even had a chicken fried steak, never really knew what it was until abouty 17yrs ago....we were driving down to California, for Mikes burial, and we stopped at this wonderful restaurant in Oregon...a very homey and warm place, not a big commercial joint...

On the menu was something called 'Chicken Fried Steak'...being as I had never had it, I asked the waiter exactly what it was, and so he described it to me, and assured me I would love it...so I ordered it...

It was absolutely delicious....Looked much like the pic you are showing, except that this was served with Mashed potatoes, rather than fries....

Hopefully someday we will get to Texas and I can try Texas Chicken Friend Steak in Texas and make a comparison...

You know, BigDom and I, both being raised in Chicago, loved our Chicago Style Hot Dogs, Chicago Style Polish, and Chicago Style Beef and Sausage Combo sandwiches...out here in the Pacific Northwest its hard to get those gourmet delights...but we do have a favorite little place up in Tacoma, called Kathys, which serves exactly those taste treats....they bring in all their meats and treats and eats from Chicago...and people who run it are from Chicago, in fact they are from the very same area of Chicago that BigDom is....

My point being, if we can get Chicago Style eats in Tacoma, cooked and served by native Chicagoans, perhaps that Chicken Fried Steak I had, could have been prepared by a Texan, transplanted to the coast of Oregon...

But, still look forward to seeing and tasting the flavor of Texas in person, someday...

Palo, without your brand of idealism, you would not be the same Palo...

What is Princess Lulu doing? Did she had a good walkie today? Did she go to the psychotherapy institute today? You know, her sweet dispostion, and her stunning looks, no doubt, make the patients feel better....

How did Bills efforts at drying out the Everest book turn out?

These are earthshattering questions that need answers...

lol you make me giggle andysmom
yup Lulu took me back to the psychotherapy place today
seems to be one of her favorite hangouts
it must not have been at 8 AM tho when everyone was arriving for work or for their appointment
only one person was hanging around, and he was talking to himself in a loud voice
I felt like I was back in nyc

the wash was filled with water from the rain, so she walked in and cooled herself, the mudpuddle was up to her tummy

the mt everest book is in the process of drying
Bill put looseleaf pages in between every single page of book so they wont stick together
it looks warped to me
but I think he can put a brick on it
he now says I cant be trusted with library books

omg rotfl over Enzyte. The first commercial was even more ridiculous, and way too subtle. It featured a background of a happy tune being whistled while "Bob" walked around with a huge grin plastered on his face constantly. It was never made clear why Bob was apparently in a constant state of elation..

At one point they showed Bob grinning from ear to ear as he returned from work, walking to his front door, saying hello to his neighbor who was out watering with a garden hose. The neighbor did not seem like a very happy man, and his garden hose visibly deflated as he was watering. Bob was greeted at the door by his Donna-Reed type wife with a very welcoming smile.

It was a most annoying commercial, and it seemed like they played it every five minutes. I had to go to the Enzyte website to figure out what in the world was going on. It's supposed to be a "natural" aid, it must be taken daily and it's expensive. I LMAO when I read the website. Check it out for grins.
