Well, my weekend alone is coming to an end...BigDom will return tomorrow, from Tacoma, probably by noon...then he will lay down for about an hour and rest before having to get going to work...but I know he enjoyed his rock and roll weekend....
Then next weekend, Fri, Sat, and Sun, we will be going back up to Seattle for some fun...have no idea what we will be doing, but am sure we will find lots to do, even if its just being lazy, and relaxing and eating out...Just getting away from home for a few days, is like a mini vacation...
Of course, Mr. Dizzy will not be happy...he was nervous about watching BigDom pack his bag up for this weekend, and did not really settle down, until he realized that I, at least would be home with him....such a big baby, that Mr. Dizzy is...

Bill and Happy saw the coyote in the wash again the other day
the coyote comes out to see Happy
Bill is thrilled to see the coyote
this is 3rd time they've seen the coyote
Happy chased the coyote away
Bill said ''Happy cowers under desk at least noise
but was brave to chase coyote''
To: palo verde
I wonder why Bill and Happy do that? They are probably so intent on their walk, and in seeing new and different things...they figure they can see you and Lulu at home, when they get there...
When on their street walk, they have to pay attention to the sights and sounds of their walk....
Of course Lulu feels she must be admired, and complimented, so she greets everyone she meets...a basset knows that they are just perfect...

it must be Sunday if BigDom returns tomorrow at noon then has nap then has to go back to work
it will be exciting him coming home and hearing his adventures
To: palo verde
Happy is brave when he has to be...he is probably actually thinking that he is protecting his Bill from the coyote...Bill should be so proud of his boy...

you are right
To: palo verde
Yes, he is always very excited when he returns home, and always tells me about his adventures ...he does enjoy these little trips, much I guess, as Bill enjoys his caving....
With the return of some rains, I guess Bill should be caving again soon...I know, it seems, when he returned from his caving adventures, hes all happy and renewed...everyone needs to get away now and then...its good for the soul...

Lulu and I are ignored by Happy and Bill
because we are girls, they do not think we are serious trekkers
however I think if it was new pretty girl with new pretty hound
Bill and Happy would be more convivial
it would be romantic adventure
To: andysandmikesmom
I agree with you
Bill returns renewed from caving
like BigDom returns from his weekends
I wonder if it is adventure
which we all love
To: andysandmikesmom
rofl maybe I am armchair adventurer, cause I'm gonna go in and read my book bout climbing Mt Everest
c u tomorrow andysmom
I love you

I should be going myself....Dizzy has come into the computer room, and was snorting and snuffling...when I paid him no attention, he tried to rub up against my legs, but could not, ,because I have my legs wrapped up in a quilt, because its getting chilly in here....so Dizzy just sat down on my feet, a hint, that he wants my attention....
So, I must bow to the will of Dizzy, and get offline and pay attention to him and feed him some treats...

The River Walk is where?East of Seattle, WA. is a long, narrow lake, Lake Washington. At the South end of the lake is a town called Renton. The Cedar River flows through it. The River Walk starts just downstream of the library and has the red brick walkway for about ½ mile. After that it is black top for another 1 mile to the river mouth at the lake......

Thanks for info Westy -I remember the River walk in San Antonio, TX. They really made a good use of their river with plenty of restaurants and small shops along side the walk.

No resturants or shops along this walk. It is a park. Farther down there are tables to have a picnic and a playground for kids....
