hi cookie
well it sure made a difference having no cooling
I understand now why resorts on desert used to close down in summer before ac
it is crystal clear and beautiful
but I am so happy shade has now entered yard
tomorrow is longest day, then finally Sun will set earlier
how is it by you
the ash in air may help your plants, no?
Love, Palo

I am not having any problems with FR either...come back Westy, give it another try...
I am beginning to wonder if something is wrong with Dizzy...he has been sleepy and lethargic most of the day...if this keeps up for another day or so, I guess a trip to the vet office may be in order...he is just not his usual, nagging self...

Night guys. Get Dizzy to the vet. I know you will.
Rest rest well my friends!

Palo, you just reminded me, that tomorrow is the first day of summer...and the longest day of the year...it stays light here until almost 10pm...because we are so far north...this is when the Alaskans get almost 24hrs of daylight...that would just drive me nuts....
I love it when it gets dark out...I love the stars, black skies, and the moon, prefer them to the sun, clouds and blue skies...
To: andysandmikesmom; westmex
honey I think it is the acceleration
one of its effects is sleep
Lulu too has slept all day
westy if FR starts working good for you
can you post one of your FYAOC pics
they cool me down when desert afternoons have been too hot
also I find your Baja pics soothing
Love, Palo
To: lodwick
Good night, Loddy...yes, Mr.Dizzy is now in my list of priorities...hes my special boy...
To: andysandmikesmom
I appreciate it that our daylight is not as long in summer as when I lived north in nyc
summer days there lasted forever
we are south, plus no daylight saving time
our Sun has started to set now

it will be weird having no captain's log tomorrow, I always check it to see what phase Moon is in
hurry back ac

the astronomy pic for today shows our Moon and Venus conjunct
that is a benevolent conjunction
even tho this has been stressful time, I bet this conjunction helped take the edge off it

Thats a picture of Snoqualmie Falls...we have been there a few times, and its just beautiful to see in person...hopefully the sight of all that lovely water will cool you down...
If any of you have ever watched that old weird series, 'Twin Peaks' this is the waterfall, that they showed at the beginning of the program, along with that weird music...
To: andysandmikesmom
I love you
thank you andysmom
just what the doctor ordered
smooch
To: Darksheare
Happy Birthday darling Darksheare

Thats a picture of Mt. Rainier, at sunset, taken from Tacoma...we are surrounded by mountains here, but you can see how much bigger Mt. Rainier is than the lower mountains...on a clear day, Mt. Rainier, just absolutely sticks out, and demands to be noticed..
To: andysandmikesmom; okimhere
Snoqualmie Falls
that sounds like Indian name
where is it located
near you
I bet that pool at bottom is delicious for swimmin'
oki and I would dive right in
Love, Palo
To: andysandmikesmom; westmex
wow that is stunning photo of Mt Rainer
you live in beautiful place
the setting Sun is turning glacier pink?
Love, Palo
westy, is that glacier on top or just snow
what is the difference
To: palo verde
Snoqualmie probably is an Indian name...lots of names around here are...names like Snoqualmie, Nisqually, Snohomish, Sammamish, Tillicum, Skykomish, Hoquiam, Puyallup, are all really very odd names, for towns and places around here, and I bet they are mostly Indian names...
Snoqualmie Falls is not really too far from us...a two hour drive, I expect...
The water at the bottom of the falls does look good for swimming, but swimming is definitely not allowed..Then above the falls, there is a lodge, which I think you can see in that picture...
