the drive in heat unhinged my mind
after 10 minutes in library I knew if I didn't get home quick, get on FR, and have ice cold coca cola I'd pass out

I found the thread, Habs, and it's full of hysteria and misinformation. Someone there said Apple Valley is being evacuated. That's my area and I can't imagine why it would be evacuated unless UFO's full of aliens have been spotted overhead - LOL. The afternoon winds waft the smoke this way, though. she thinks it is unflattering
but I think she looks beautiful

Nary a single UFO has been spotted, Palo. Of course, Apple Valley was Roy Rogers' town and I don't think that old cowboy woulda stood for that - LOL.

However, I was unusually busy today driving all over the valley in this 100° heat and I didn't even see the SMOKE so unless I was sucked up into a UFO as in your little gif, I probably wouldn't even have spotted the thing. BTW - where ARE all of your cute gifs? Haven't seen many lately.
