I found the thread, Habs, and it's full of hysteria and misinformation. Someone there said Apple Valley is being evacuated. That's my area and I can't imagine why it would be evacuated unless UFO's full of aliens have been spotted overhead - LOL. The afternoon winds waft the smoke this way, though.
