Yes, edited records (either decades ago, or months ago - when were they tampered with?) seemed like a possibility to me, and edited identity now. Usually big blanks in someones military records indicate that they were on covert assignments. If all his records had been blanked out for security reasons, it is possible that a computer system truncated them and moved his discharge date back to match the date of the last entry.
He may be a legitimate Special Forces type spook. It sounds to me like he is still on assignment.

Occasionally the press almost gets it. It's so simple, the President says what he means and he means what he says. Here the Washington Post offers up modest praise for the effectiveness of the President's
"quiet diplomacy" this weekend but can't resist taking a jab at his Rose Garden speech and the Powell trip.... It isn't as if they really knew what Powell accomplished or Cheney either for that matter.
Quiet Diplomacy Key to Ramallah Deal
"This has been a hopeful day for the region, and we must continue to press forward to peace," Bush said. "Chairman Arafat should now seize this opportunity to act decisively in word and in deed against terror directed at Israeli citizens."
"Mr. Arafat must do his job," Bush said. "Somebody asked me one time a while ago, they said, 'Has he disappointed you and has he lost your respect?' And I said, 'Well, he hasn't earned my respect yet.' He must earn my respect by leading."

Tehre's either some typo by the journalist OR editing going on, for sure.
I do know one of my husband's cousins has been trying for years to get his military records [and has even tried going through two federal legislators], but all the military will provide is his dates of service, the branch, and his rank......they will tell him nothing about where he served....he was in spy planes like the one the Chicoms rammed of ours last year...only they were surveilling over the Middle East...they were around during the Gary Powers take down.
His Congress critters have had no better luck at breaking the info loose than he was/is.

Hiya Darlin' -- it's heating up here in Waco, too. Supposed to be in the 90's every day this week I think. I did turn on the central A/C for the first time in this house yesterday evening, and it cooled the house down nicely. I turned it off around midnight, and haven't started it yet today. It's the first time I lived in a house with central a/c.
The dogs were so funny when that big metal box in the backyard suddenly started making a whole lot of noise. It had always been so quiet - suddenly it was growling at them. They barked at it for 10 minutes before they were satisfied that it was intimidated and wouldn't attack them.

Teeman, monarch butterflies migrate south every year because they cannot fly unless the temperature is at least 55 degrees. I just learned that today.

Maybe this Andy Martin creature is related to the Doc Martin shoe company.
I wasn't going to buy another pair of hiking shoes before my trip, but now I think I will.

"but my one brother got an honorable dischrage very shortly after completing boot camp .." Same with my ex-husband, he was injured playing baseball just after bootcamp and was deemed unable to serve and received an honorable discharge from the marine corps.

Vet bill
A woman brought a very limp parrot into a veterinary surgery. As she carefully set her pet on the table, the vet pulled out his stethoscope and listened to the bird's chest. After a moment or two, the vet shook his head sadly and said, "I'm sorry, but Polly has passed away".
The distressed owner wailed, "Are you sure? I mean, you haven't done any testing on him or anything. He might just be in a coma or something."
The vet rolled his eyes, shrugged, turned and left the room returning a few moments later with beautiful black Labrador.
As the bird's owner looked on in amazement, the dog stood on his hind legs, put his front paws on the examination table and sniffed the dead parrot front top to bottom. He then looked at the vet, shook his head and barked.
The vet praised the dog, took it out and returned in a few moments with a cat, who jumped up and also sniffed the bird on the table. The cat sat back, shook its head and meowed. It then jumped off the table and ran out of the room.
The vet looked at the woman and said, "I'm sorry; but like I said, your parrot is dead."
He then turned to his computer terminal, hit a few keys, produced a bill and handed it to the woman.
Still puzzled, the parrot's owner took the bill and looked at it. "$150!" she cried. "Just to tell me my bird is dead?! That's ridiculous!"
The vet shrugged. "If you'd taken my word for it the bill would only have been $20, but... with the Lab report and the Cat scan..."

You see something wrong with that picture? I don't. I'm surprised at you, swerve. I don't see anything wrong with it per se, but I doubt if it will foster the image the WPGA has been trying to build, although it may cut down on the whispers of mass lesbianism.
Speaking of pictures, if Ratty or I are going to mash your buttons improperly, we really need a picture of them. Just post it right here and we will download it.

she laughed until she cried at herself after saying Yasser Arafat can spread his legs, instead of Yasser Arafat can STRETCH his legs. Oh my!!! Freud would be so proud...
