hi neets
I am OFF!!!
great!!
thanks sweetie
Tucson jury duty is different from Manhattan juryduty
In Manhattan they made us stay the whole two weeks, no matter what
(I guess cause of so many cases)
here they let everyone go after first day
also I told guard when I arrived ''I only have $10 bill
and I want to call my husband to pick me up when it's over
is there a concession stand to get change?''
he said ''we have phones for public to use for free
just dial 9 for outside line''
also jury assembly room has two big TVs turned to Turner Classic Movies
so jurors can watch movies all day
it made me realize jury assembly rooms should be in movie theater
so we can sit in dark, watch wonderful movie on big screen, and be served pop corn and pop

they did stop the murder mystery movie on TCM
to show their orientation film ''welcome new jurors''
as soon as they announced we would have wonderful orientation film which we would enjoy so much
I headed for hall
To: palo verde
ROTFLMAO..you sound like me...Afraid the Jury movie might be too boring..LOL...First thing I did when I had to go was figure out where the smoking area was..then the refreshments for coffee,,,,then the bathrooms...LOL.

Westy.. thank you for that site.. It is very interesting and I bookmarked it. I have one for you..
American ArchaeologyOn this page, scroll down to Table C. On that page you will see a list of names.. The Nevers name is my husbands old 72 acre farm which they have taken over for further digs. They have listed the findings at 11,000 years. The preceeding page tells about what they found and how old etc.

Wow...what great pictures and story to go with the pictures...I was especially interested in your descriptions of the manatees...I love manatees...they are just so adorable, and from what I understand, they are just very sweet, gentle, slow moving creatures, who unfortunately sometimes get injured, or worse yet, killed, by motor boats going too fast and hitting them....I am glad that you and your family got to see one and follow it for some time..that would have been the height of my trip also...
Glad Jesse got to play with the dolphins...when my son was on his world trip, he went snorkling in many different places...one of his most memorable places was a place where there was lots of dolphins...when he was in the water, he said he would just spin around, and the dolphins followed his lead, and pretty soon he was 'dancing with dolphins'....he said it was really a memorable event....
Sure looks like you are down in a lovely place, and just having a grand old time...
No one cares how much bandwidth you use, because we got a great story, and wonderful pictures for that bandwidth....

Hi there Palo...I bet you were glad when you woke this morning, to realize that you did not have to report for jury duty today....now you can relax and post along as you chose....
Just a drive by posting for now...have to finish up cooking the hubbys dinner and pack his lunch for work....and then wake the hubby up, and shot the breeze with him...will be back later on, once he leaves for work...
Also the sweet Dizzy boy is nagging for attention...see ya later...
To: palo verde
LOL! Jury duty sounds ok if you can watch TCM all day!!LOL!!They should have a marathon of 12 Angry Men,Witness for the Prosecution, Anatomy of a Murder, Dial M for Murder and Double Indeminity.Hosted by Palo Verde ;-)
To: OneidaM
Yes, take your time, do extensive testing, and compare notes with your Sisters ;-)
To: grannie9
What a great sit-rep from Camp Cape Coral!!That Al has a heck of a tan too...so, when is he going to take your pic and post it here?Hey, post a pic of a manatee so I have idea that it isn't the ugliest garbage fish going ;-)
To: palo verde
I've been reading the Klayman thread. It sounds familiar, from a few months back ;-) Oy Vey!!LOL
To: grannie9
Thanks for the very entertaining tour! What a thrill for that little cutie, all on her own with her dolphins. Surely they have never been trained but do you have any idea why they respond to a human handclap?
I saw a manatee in an aquarium in Chicago when I lived there. It was a real surprise to me, the size and weight of it, just like you said. I had heard that this was what long-ago sailors saw and thought it was a mermaid. Were they too long at sea? Was the manatee too far away? I gave up trying to figure it out. But seeing the real deal was an eyeopener - LOL.
To: grannie9
What a super day, and an excellent report - thank you!
