I saw the pup,eagle thing on TV. The eagle dropped the dog about 3 feet. Wasn't hurt to bad, mainly from the talons. Had a few gashes....

Pretty good so far, except I had to be reminded that chilli doesn't agree with me at all ;-)So, did the Doc successfully remove that growth on your upper lip that made you lisp and drool all last week?? LOL

this morning when my hubby finally woke up
I went in to say hi
he and Lulu were both sitting up next to each other
with the covers half way up on them
(she had burrowed under covers at dawn when it got cold)
Bill and Lulu looked like a couple who had just spent the night together
('cept she looked like a gnome)
(basset hounds always look like ugly princess in castle to me)
And Happy had emerged from under the bed to join them

i think obb is zonked after sanding a concrete floor all day today.

bill is doing great! you would never know he had surgery yesterday. he is walking and moving about normally and he said he could have gone to work today. there is a good deal of swelling and bruising at the surgical site, but bill said there is no pain--just discomfort. he is amazing. i'm sure i would have been down for a few days, anyway, had i been operated on.

The pup was carried 300 ft and the talons caused a serious infection.Go read it, some of the pics and comments are very funny :-)LOL
