With just five days to go before the midterms, President Trump and other Republicans are on a campaign blitz. President Trump was in Chillicothe, Ohio, last night for a rally. Outside, Trump supporters clashed with leftists, and things turned violent.
Video circulating on social media shows the moment police realize a Trump supporter was stabbed, and that the weapon — described as possibly a pocket knife with an orange hilt) was still in the victim's back.

The Newsweek article claims the officer’s pocket knife retention clip got hooked onto the guy’s shirt while they were breaking up an altercation. So what and why the altercation? Article kind of smooths that over, like nothing to see here.

I am currently working towards being 76 years old. I have never been called for a poll, even when I had a home landline. I have been back in my native county of Alabama for over 20 years, after being away 35 years, and have never been called for jury duty. Not at all. My wife, who lived most of her life in WA state before coming to Bama over 20 years ago, has been called TWICE!!! Go figure. They use the voter rolls to send out jury notices. Don’t know why I have never been called.
Whether this was an actual stabbing or not isn't the point. The point is, the Left does not believe in Freedom of Speech, and to them, violence is an accepted alternative. I have personal experience with this.
When nearly 50% of their political affiliation on the Left say that violence is fully or somewhat accepted in political disputes, that describes fully the dangerous mindset of these incredibly immature and violent people who lack self-control.
Case in point:
I stood out for several hours last Saturday in this bluest of blue states where we haven't got much of a chance of changing anything, but we do it anyway, because we all feel that if enough people do it, all over this country, at least we can push back against this cancer of Leftism.
In my town where we had the standout for Republican candidates, I had to drive down a one-way street and parallel park on the side of the street, and it was about a 30 second walk to where everyone had their signs. It is a wide street that is one lane but, when parallel parking, you can easily pull to the side to park and leave people behind you enough room to safely pass, so you don't hold up traffic.
I drifted to the left as I approached a series of open spaces, and didn't have to back in...I could pull directly in. As I stopped, and got out of my car, another car pulled into the open parallel parking space behind me, got out of his car and began talking to me in a level tone of voice while still about 20 feet away. It went like this: STRANGER: Hey! (He gets out of his car, and begins walking in my direction)
ME: (Scanning his face, thinking he is one of the group standing out with us whose face I don't quite recognize). Hey! How are you? What's up?
STRANGER: (Speaking conversationally and walking towards me) Don't you know how to drive? What makes you think you can drive on the wrong side of the road?
ME: (Still looking at him trying to place him, a bit puzzled. I think he is one of my group I don't recognize, and think he is just good-naturedly busting my chops) Er...what do you mean?
STRANGER: (Walking even closer to me, closing the distance) You're driving on the wrong side of the road. Don't you know how to drive?
ME: (I am still puzzled) Uhh...it's a one way street. There is only one way to drive on it. What do you mean?
STRANGER: (He points at my Republican signs, visible through the rear window of my care) You and your filthy f***ing Nazi-loving signs, who...
ME: (I get it now. He is an unhinged Leftist) Ahh. I see. You're one of those unhinged Leftists.
STRANGER: (He walks right up to me, close enough to bump my chest with his chest, his face in mine, about an inch away. I can see he is in his fifties, gray haired, and very slight of build) Yeah? What are you going to do about it, tough guy?
ME: (Not moving an inch) What the Hell is wrong with you?
STRANGER: (Still in my face, chest bumping me. I realize how fully absurd this is. This is stupid High School material) What are you doing to f***ing do about it? Huh? Huh? Huh?
ME: (I turn away, and go to open my car) Get back in your car, you stupid Leftist jackass pussy. What the f**k is your problem, you emotionally incontinent pussy?
STRANGER: (He walks back to his car, still shouting profanities at me over his shoulder as I open the back hatch to my car, still keeping an eye on him)
Crazy. This is not my first go-around with these types of people.
Sarah Palin was the speaker, and she came on and was speaking, this guy came up and stood in front of me, facing me. I just ignored him and kept my eyes on the stage, but then he came closer to the point he was in my face and I couldn't ignore him, and asked about my sign. "What does that mean?"
I stepped to the side to see the stage, and he mirrored my move. He was less than a foot away, deep inside my personal space. When I recognized he was just there to pick a fight, I said "Look. I am not really interested in talking to you." and again, stepped to the side.
Again he mirrored my move, staying in my space between me and the stage, and talking the whole time. Once more, I said I wasn't interested in talking to him, and at this point, strangers around me began to snap at the guy saying "Hey, he said he isn't interested in talking to you..." and such.
For what it is worth, the guy looked just like the guy in "Forrest Gump" who slapped his girlfriend, causing Gump to ruin their "Black Panther Party".
While they were admonishing this guy, I looked over and saw a whole group of college age people, all videoing the encounter. They were clearly hoping for me to take a swing at the guy.
Thing is, as much as I would have liked to, I simply couldn't. I was conceal carrying, and I had to be the adult in this.
No way I was going to end up rolling on the ground with a weapon on my person. Anything can happen. And that is my mindset-I have to be the adult in the room in these things, because they sure as hell won't be.

So, I can control myself around these people, even if it is a challenge. As I pointed out, it is a Leftist tactic to provoke Conservatives into physical violence, and it is a tribute to our side that it occurs so infrequently that we do respond. When we do, it is almost in every case, fully justified.
When I arrived at the standout on Saturday and told the others in the group what happened to me last Saturday, the woman who leads our group said I must be some kind of magnet for those lunatics.
They do seem to gravitate to me, for some reason when trying to provoke a response. I am a bit of a hothead, with a face that isn't a pokerface, so perhaps they pick up on that.
Don't feed the trolls. Ignore.

I went into Boston back in the early 2000’s. and Rumsfeld was speaking at the Old South Meeting House (a historic church) and waiting in line to get in, we had to walk a gauntlet of Leftists screaming at the top of their lungs at us, pawing at us and jostling us.
I was damned disconcerting.
When we were inside the church, the windows were frosted, but...you could see, like zombies, the shadows of their hands as they pawed at the windows from outside.
Leftists are the friggin creepiest bunch of lunatics around. If they had their way, they would line up and shoot every single person who disagreed with them.
Filthy scum. There is no middle ground with them. They can only be fought, and we should try to fight them politically as best we can until they leave us no choice.
