As TGP reported, former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was arrested for driving under the influence in Wisconsin in July.
The former NFL player was pulled over on Interstate 43 in Milwaukee after a police officer stopped him for ‘unsafe passing on the right and lane deviation.’
Newly-released police bodycam footage shows Tony Romo arguing with a female police officer after she pulled him over and asked him to perform a field sobriety test.
Romo told the officer that he was coming from a golf course and on his way to see his grandparents.
“How many drinks have you had?” the officer asked Tony Romo.

Let me guess- he wasn’t liberal enough?
Tony Romo’s blood-alcohol concentration (BAC) was measured at 0.15 percent.
He was good and drunk
Agree about the severity of drinking and driving ... but, other athletes/analysts/broadcasters have gotten away with FAR more than this.
Sounds like maybe they wanted to terminate his contract, and, this was their exit ramp.
He gave it to them, so, there is that.
I think if Peyton Manning wanted to go into the booth he would be great. But I do enjoy the Manning Brothers broadcasts.
That would have been a DUI back in the old days before the Mad Mothers got the numbers dropped.
The point of the field sobriety test is for everyone to fail, sober or not and provide the police with a list of “observations” that confirm their suspicions that you are intoxicated if you are charged with a DUI. (According to the AI legal video that I watched last night.)
No, he doesn’t. Actions have consequences.

Not sure if that's true, but if it is then an insta-fire after one offense looks like 'this is the best excuse ever to dump him finally!'
The blood alcohol content shifted from .10 to .08, the difference of less than one drink. It wasn’t that big of a change.

100% agree.
I still love this old bit —
I baptize dee, in the name of da papa, the dika, and the 46 defense....

That’s not too bad the USA used to be 1.0 vs the insane low 0.08 now. Most people over 3-4 drinks are over the limit.
Working in a hospital I have seen levels so high most humans would be dead. over 5.0 and even higher and driving, but those are professional drinkers of course.
Alcoholism is a disease I hear, and you can get into to a lot of trouble for firing someone for a disability. I knew a Truck Driver at Rocketdyne that got fired for a DUI, a year later he got his job back and a year of Back Pay!!!
Yes, in AZ, before 1982, there was no clear BAC limit, just were you impaired or not by observation, investigation of drinking history prior to driving. Then the first limit was a BAC of .10 in 1982. In 2001 it went to .08. Since then, there are enhanced penalties for .15 and .20.
A person can be arrested for under.08 if an officer believes you were impaired to any degree.
Some serious, long term, daily drinkers can get pretty high and still walk around and function while a normal person would be unconscious.
refereed = referred
Sounds like a sweet deal to me. I’ll take that deal any day.
Gee, it’s not like CBS is the model for virtue. They lie on a daily basis
