Iran’s Ring of Fire Now Ashes - Iran is rapidly being consumed in the flames it lit.

The mullahcracy had the swell idea of avoiding accountability for attacks on Israel. They would surround Israel with well-armed proxies to do their dirty work. Hezb’allah in Lebanon, Hamas in Gaza, Houthis in the Red Sea, militias in Iraq and Syria, and allied forces in the West Bank. They would assert hegemony over the Middle East and choke off petro products to the world by blockading the Strait of Hormuz.

As it stands today, military action by the U.S. and Israel and economic warfare by the Treasury have nearly extinguished these fires. Iran is broke; they alone are being blockaded in the Strait with no means to earn oil revenue. Inflation is so great the rial is valueless (now over two million to the U.S. dollar). Most of its leadership is dead. Its navy has been sunk. Its radar and missile capacities are virtually nonexistent. It’s a defenseless sitting duck. Except for torturing and murdering its own citizens, it poses no real threat to anyone. It lacks allies it once assumed and is disintegrating rapidly. It is being consumed in the flames it lit.

Hezb’allah

A key component of the ring plan was Hezb’allah in Lebanon. This week, at Ali-Al-Taher, it fell to Israeli forces. Iran had called the security of this base a red line, which Israel crossed at its peril. There was no offensive move by Iran after the base fell.

A 20-year IRGC military project has fallen to Israel, exposing just how badly the Islamic Republic’s regional deterrence has eroded.

Ali al-Taher was not simply another Hezbollah position. It was a deeply buried Iranian-backed military complex, reportedly cut 30–50 meters into rock, with command rooms, weapons stores, generators, living quarters, kitchens and clinics. It served as a headquarters for Hezbollah’s Badr Unit, responsible for the sector north

As long as the mullahs don’t get replaced with new mullahs.

What’s the old saying, nothing is more dangerous than a wounded animal.

Iran is wounded badly, it may be in its final days, whatever they have left will be used before the Mullahs leave the scene, if they do leave, they won’t go quietly.

We have the anniversary of 9/11 coming up, we have midterm elections in a few weeks, what better way to go out than hit America in the homeland right before one of these events.

You have to believe with the border being wide open during the Biden Administration, Iranian operatives came across that border and are waiting to carry out some type of terrorist attack.

I would not be surprised to see something happen before the end of the year.

Trump is re-making the Middle East. This will be seen as a great historic event. The opposite of the Suez Crisis of 1956 which basically got the Middle East problem going in the first place. Part of Trump’s great legacy.

The Mullahs are only a problem when they’re enabled, financially and otherwise, by the anti-American elites in the City of London.

After those strings are cut, the mullahs will be reduced to the point where they pose a threat only to the local farm animals. Goats, camels, you get the picture.

Dig the cancer out of the rock. Sounds like a good plan.

This piece is compelling because it lines up with what the United States and Israel have actually been trying to accomplish for decades.

Iran has been a nearly fifty‑year problem, and nobody expects a single action or a single moment to represent some final victory. Nothing in the Middle East is absolute, and nothing stays static. But the strategic goals have always been clear: weaken Iran’s proxy network, disrupt its ability to project power, and erode the arms pipeline that supports its regional influence — especially the nuclear program.

It reflects the direction both countries have been pushing: forcing Iran inward, draining its resources, degrading its militias, and making its nuclear ambitions harder to protect.

It doesn’t mean Iran is finished, and it doesn’t mean the future is predictable. It simply means the long‑term pressure campaign may finally be producing visible cracks in the structure Iran has relied on for decades.

I would imagine it will happen after the mid terms. An attack right now would garner support for Trump—at least it would drive his base to the polls.

Iran would like to be seen as the victim to the idiots on the left. Until they are not.

Been waiting for this since 1979. I bet the parents and grand parents of the people there are the ones who welcomed in the mullahs.
Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it. And the Iranian people got it good and hard.

I think that what is left of Iran can have mullahs, too, if it wants to. If Iran wants to live in the 7th Century, it should be free to.

I view Iran under the Shah as a US experiment to counter Soviet Union incursion into the region. The Soviets were busy flooding Egypt’s past and selling weapons to Iraq, so the US sold F15s to the Shah. The Shah leaned toward the West and Tehran was a center of Western learning where women could walk around more freely than anywhere in the Middle East.

Those days are all in the past, now. The Iranians who liked the freedoms of the West, mostly, left. Only the nuclear physicists remain. The Soviet Union is gone and Russia has problems on its own doorstep.

The world may be a century in recovering from the collapse of the Soviet Union. There are supporters in the West who wish it were back, but the actions of the West to contain it may be long in recovery as well. America is paying the price, finally, in Iran. It will pay the price in China, as well.

Exactly. For her to say that the IRI isn’t a threat to anyone, is foolish & dangerous.

Disagree. He will be blamed for the attack.

Trump is re-making the Middle East.

Yes, but the current Democrats, including most in the press, will never admit it. They have too much hate to do that.

You have to think the zealots that are still hanging on in Iran are going crazy.

The Mossad has to be working overtime to destabilize the country from within while at the same time assassinating any of the power brokers that show their face.

“...the mullahs will be reduced to the point where they pose a threat only to the local farm animals. Goats, camels, you get the picture.”

That may be a misconception. Iran, wihin it’s borders, is only a threat to its own people until it sends out missiles and drones. But their real power comes from being able to finance and enable it’s children of terrorists all over the world. That, currently, is the threat. But, unchecked, they are going to make themselves a world power with the combination of support from their terrorists groups and a much larger killing ability using balistic long range missiles. They are working on both as we speak and being supported by a number of countries like Russia and China.

Very true. But Trump is also remaking the entire world and shifting power to our hemisphere.
