Nike is set to be removed from the S&P 100, a subset of the S&P 500 that tracks 100 major blue-chip companies across multiple industry groups, later this month.
This comes after the company lost nearly 80% of its value since 2021.
As The Gateway Pundit reported last month, the woke brand’s stock price plunged to a 12-year low after spending the last decade championing left-wing social justice causes.
As of Saturday, the company has a market cap of roughly $57 billion, losing more than $200 billion in value since its all-time high in November 2021.
The stock is down roughly 40% year-to-date, trading at $38.41.
Now, they're set to be axed from the S&P 100 before the markets open on September 21, 2026, according to S&P Dow Jones Indices.
More from the New York Post: Federal Realty, which operates the center, told the Silicon Valley Business Journal that the departure was “not a decision specific to this market or property” — and part of a broader shift, as the company tries to find the way forward.
The downsizing comes as Nike announced major global operations changes in April of this year — laying off approximately 1,400 employees working in global operations, mostly in the technology sector.
The changes were designed to optimize the company’s supply chain footprint and modernize their use of technology to create “a more responsive, resilient, responsible, and efficient company,” according to Nike.
The iconic brand has been in a sales slump, with both footwear and equipment showing negative growth, revenue from Nike stores down 7%, and Converse revenue down 32%. Nike Direct revenue fell 9%, while Nike Digital was fell by 12%.

Okay Nike, follow that tune “those shoes are made for walking”.
Consistent performance by the stock over the last 5 years.
Proudly haven’t spent a dime on anything Nike since Kapernick.
Good one.
I worked there for 15 years. I was never more outraged as when I turned on my computer one morning and the word “SACRIFICE” was spread across the ugly face of Kapernack to whom they had just given $25,000.00 for kneeling during the anthem.
I had just saved them over $1,000,000 on one Texas tax audit and I didn’t get so much as a thank you-—nevermind a raise I asked for. I wanted to dump all my Nike shoes outside of the CEO’s door (Mark Parker) but then realized there would likely be cameras and I’d be fired so I decided to wait until I was ready to leave -which I did.
Bunch of arrogant bastards who run the place deserve this humiliation.
That’s the picture from the ad? She looks like she’s about to drop dead from a tummy ache!
Good.
Maybe you missed one of their previous CEO’s saying they were a Chinese company, not an American one. I presume that was because there were a lot more feet in China than the USA.
They had zero loyalty to the USA only to their stock price.
And considering melanated ferals murder people for their flagship sneakers it’s no wonder people don’t want to buy that Nike crap.
Never owned a pair of Nikes. Never will.
Funny, just yesterday, for no resaon, I YouTubed up the Bo Jackson “Bo Knows Baseball” Nike commercial from the 1980’s where the last scene is with Bo Diddley. I think that’s one of the greatest comercials ever.
I had no idea NKE was in the tank, stockwise. I’m not a follower or a non-follower, but last I recall NKE was a very strong ~~$60 stock and with the market where it is, should be a $90 stock by now.
The longer Jordan has been out, the less important his shoes become.
At least with Shaq, hes not selling his shoes for $400/pair. Hes fine to shoe to shoe feet for reasonable prices.
Overpriced sweatshop shoes.
How’s Jaguar doing?
Talk about woke!
I’ve boycotted them since the late 80s
Yeah, from 180 down to 38.
Ditto!
Now Nike is going to have to slash the pay of the children working in their factories.
