Pompano Beach resident Nancy Dello Stritto, who is almost 77 years old, opened her mail to find a license plate reading “SQZ A55.” She told CBS News Miami that the plate, which can be interpreted to spell out a crude phrase, caused her to go “ballistic.” Sierra, Quebec and Zulu, Alpha bother her.

Pompano Beach resident Nancy Dello Stritto, who is almost 77 years old, opened her mail to find a license plate reading "SQZ A55." Maybe it was meant to be sent to Cosmo Kramer?!

Funny thing is, if she had requested the same characters as a custom plate, some States would have denied the request...

I would have loved to have a sequence like that on my license plate while I lived in Florida. But since I asked for an “In God We Trust” plate, maybe that wouldn’t have turned out well.
I can’t get that in Maryland, either, unless I specifically asked, and it didn’t run afoul of their regulations. The seven-digit plates had already gone out by the time I moved back up there.

candid camera had a classic bit where folks came in for liscence plates to pick them up and they had things something like “I’ma Dunce” and “Felon” and “Failed Math” or whatever- it was pretty funny- most were shocked but polite about it lol

I was once assigned a license plate that read WET 069. I got a few honks over that.
