Discharging one’s personal protection from the inside of a vehicle is loud. One suggestion is to keep a pair of ear muffs next to the 9mm in the center console. In case of an emergency pull on the ear muffs, rack the 9mm, lower your window 4 inches, select a target, and remember to exhale before you squeeze the trigger. Repeat as necessary.

A nation destroyed by western (US and Euro) moralistic racial grandstanding which didn’t even apply!
We projected our racial past and conflict onto them.
Most the blacks in South Africa weren’t brought there as slaves.
Most the blacks came AFTER the place developed.
Most the conflict there was between the various black factions, NOT white on black. The former government of South Africa was keeping them apart, trying to prevent them from slaughtering each other.
Mandela was not some peaceful guy, he was an unrepentant terrorist and even given a chance to leave prison early if he just promises to renounce violence.
South Africa was an ally and we backed them through the Cold War since they stood against the Communists.
But then once the Cold War ended, we turned on them (didn’t need them anymore) and PROJECTED our BS race politics onto them.
Today, few talk about how South Africa has been in a low intensity civil war with more blacks dying than under Apparheit.
Few mention how this nation where the first heart transplant was performed, designed and built their own jet fighters, where you had universities on par with what you find in the US and Europe today has intermittent power outages in their cities, and roving gangs raping women in the city in broad daylight...
