"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.

Additionally Montana has instituted ‘actual valuation’ of property taxes — and adjusted the mils DOWN to keep property taxation fair.
Real life example: our home was, in October, valued by the state at 25% more than two years earlier however our property tax decreased 10%. The new valuation is 100% fair for our dwelling.
As an FYI Montana reevaluates property taxes every two years by statute.
