Michelle Wu’s office facing backlash for promoting ‘Trans Period Pride’ event for ‘trans menstruators’

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu’s Office of LGBTQ+ Advancement is facing backlash online after promoting a “Trans Period Pride” event at a public library centered on “menstrual equity” and transgender experiences with menstruation.

A Tuesday post featuring a graphic with a pink tampon and blue menstrual pad read, “Join MASS NOW and the MA Trans Political Coalition for a consciousness-raising discussion on menstrual equity and the experiences of trans menstruators.”

The free event will be held in June at the Boston Public Library’s Copley Branch.

The event, which includes a catered dinner and “free period underwear provided to all attendees,” is supported by the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ Advancement, the Boston Alliance of LGBTQ+ Youth (BAGLY), MASS NOW and the Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition.

On its website, the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ Advancement says it “develops policies, community-oriented programming, and provides resources for the City’s diverse LGBTQIA2S+ community.”

In the Instagram post, the event is described as a “consciousness raising conversation around transgender experiences with menstruation.”

Wu has denied reports in the past that city funds were used to support a program offering LGBTQ migrants up to $500 in “wellness” perks, after a local advocacy group advertised the benefits and later scaled back its description amid backlash.

OUTnewcomers, an LGBTQ group in Boston, subsequently announced it returned city grant funding to Wu’s office after its plans clashed with the local government’s expectations for the funding.

Fortunately, Michelle is a biologist. We're lucky to have her.

The basic idea for Democrats seems to be: “Believe things that you know are not true.” If the Democrats can sell this basic concept, then they can push through all kinds of legislation on all kinds of topics. They just need to get people be completely gullible.

OMG!
When does her term finally end?
Somebody had to vote for her. They are complicit in this vulgar farce.

The Left is sick, and the Left in Massachusetts is even sicker.

Wednesday, I drove through a wealthy town in Massachusetts, Lincoln, and they were having a rally of some kind in front of the small town post office.

I had to drop some letters off, so I parked. It was a “pride rally”, and it was entirely populated by grade schoolers.

Young grade schoolers. Looked like hundreds of them. It was absolutely appalling. They are indoctrinating these young children in this.

I just cannot get over this. These people are all going to have a millstone around their necks. That is their fate.

And it was all females that I could see. Didn’t see any males anywhere except the kids.

They all looked like they came out of AWFUL central casting, too.

It’s like trying to solve a puzzle.
Is this right?
These are women who are menstruating and they think they are men and they need to get tampons from the men’s room. And so they celebrate their achievement.

Do I have it right?

"Somebody had to vote for her. They are complicit in this vulgar farce."

These voters, and the leftist politician they voted for, should be considered as traitors to the United States of America.

Imagine the utopia if we just repealed the 19th

And post repeal, women could not change genders as any loophole to vote.

Seeing things like that makes me think of that.

But I know too many conservative females to take that path. There is a similarity in my mind with the 2nd Amendment.

It is a bit of a conundrum for me. It only we could separate the Conservative Wheat from the Leftist Chaff, but...no.

I have to accept that they have the same rights I have, even though they are committed to destroying them, even as I have to accept they mean to destroy me and take away my right to defend myself.

“free period underwear provided”

Authentic 1600s underwear?
Genuine 1700s underwear?
1800s?

What period?

She is nuts. How pathetic can another human be to attend a get together to discuss period underwear, and menstruating? Seriously is anything sacred?

They don’t need to work so hard to prove their idiocy. Really, it was clearly apparent for quite awhile now.

Are there that many weirdos in MA -or Boston - or do they all just gravitate there because of the protection they get from weirdo politicians? Wasn’t it a state in New England that first recognized and approved of and made legal homosexual marriages?
