No link. Just wondering. Hate to see it disappear.
I’m not sure of the question, will answer in two ways:
In terms of what market segment(s) FR would serve as an appealing place advertise? Can’t provide SIC codes or the right categories (not my area of expertise) but I’ll generalize what I think would apply: organizations that promote conservative values (NRA, AMAC, Patriot Mobile, conservative schools, etc.), retailers of products that tend to appeal to conservatives (hunting, preppers, patriotic gear, etc.), products appealing to our likely demographics (I’m perceiving it as as middle age to seniors), the U.S. States we reside in, etc.
In terms how would (or could) FR serve the current audience if advertising became part of the site? I think it would help enable future operations, investment in technology if needed, compensate ownwers and operators of the site, and potentially enable the site grow the user base.
I can accept differing opinions, but I cannot accept those who do not accept differing opinions.
Anyway nobody is doing any zotting anymore
so it has become what it is.
I no longer contribute.

This is always there for all to see. I just did my one time donation on a retirement fixed income.
“A large cost is the routers and servers in hardened Data Centers.”
If you don’t know, don’t just make up things.
Look at the numbers:
Monthly Expenses
Bandwidth Costs $500
Systems and Programming 7,000
Management and Admin 13,500
Legal and Accounting 1,000
Bank Fees, Credit Card Fees, Processing Fees 900
Equip, Maintenance and Repairs 600
Office Expenses, Rents, Insurance, Telephone, ISP, Supplies, Allowance for Declines/Cancels 2,500
Travel Expenses 1,200
Don’t forget the FReepers who stormed the Florida chad recount and stopped the steal. We would have had SoreLoserMan AL GORE instead of G W Bush.
Well if that is the case I would love to see the back end redesigned.
Many people have talking about redoing FR. If the front end could essentially remain and have it work on the back end
Pictures
better links
better easier connections with other people in the thread
like and dislike buttons
Better new sidebar topics
Better messaging communication
Perhaps get big and go private?
RE: X.COM
A person can look at so many AI ads and clips a day.
Same for me. No admin moderators it seems. So many stupid weird sourced BS that get the posers to knee jerk and whine about everything like they could do better.
That and the Q nonsense...
IMO, the Q site is one of the most informative sites on Free Republic. Many topics are discussed, and only heaven knows how many lives were saved during Covid-19 due to the knowledge and research of ransomnote and others.
Ask a general question on the Q site and almost immediate answers.
it is a leftist tool
No advertisers would want to be here
I don’t see any of those organizations supporting the salty opinions of freepers.
We would be kryptoite

Now that is news to me.
All i know is she spammed the livin hell out of this place and drove off a good many in the process.
And they let her get away with it.
We absolutely do have paid propagandists here. Mark Levin was one of them. Mitt Romney likely had one at the same time his staff was running his "Pierre Delecto" account on Twitter. The exposure of the USAID graft showed posters were being paid on all kinds of sites.
I've torn apart postings from others that were clearly done not only by a professional but by a team of professionals.
And do not dare oppose the persistent provocative postings by certain one true church advocates.
Yeah, it's like everyone needs to learn for themselves to stay away his posts. He crashes out regularly, complains to the Admins, and gets comments removed. He's the self-ordained authority of all things religion.
Once you know, it's easy enough to just skip past his posts. I used to light him up but now don't bother. I have noticed that he doesn't stray onto others' posts.
On a related note, I suspect there's a string of churches whose pastors have asked him not to come back - hence he's online.
