California voter ID measure gets over 1 million signatures
The new initiative would require voters to show one of several forms of identification.
An initiative imposing new voter identification requirements in California is one step closer to getting on the ballot.
Roughly 1.35 million signatures were collected during the effort to get the California Voter ID initiative on the Nov. 3 general election ballot. That’s well over the 800,000 signatures that were required. The initiative petitions will now go to the secretary of state to verify the signatures later this week.
The new initiative would require voters to show one of several forms of identification, according to supporters during a press conference on Tuesday morning.
Those who vote by mail would have to write the last four digits of their identification number on their ballot for it to be counted. The numbers would be from a form of identification of the voter’s choice.
State lawmakers who advocated for the measure said the effort has drawn bipartisan support.

Hale argues that the system may allow candidates who do not align with the Republican base to compete under the GOP banner.

Do you believe… we’re looking at what to include in the TEAC’s content. Should we teach that there have been 70,000 terrorist attacks worldwide motivated by religious beliefs, specifically those in the Quran?” Hall asked – TEAC stands for Teacher Education Accreditation Council.
“And for example, in Surah 9:29 that says, ‘Fight those who do not believe in Allah in the last day, nor comply with what Allah and his messenger had forbidden, nor embrace the religion of truth from among those who are given the scripture, until they pay the [jizya] tax, willingly submit, fully humbled.’ Should we teach students that important piece of history?” he unflinchingly grilled her.
She deflected and dishonestly shot back, “There is no single verse in the Quran that asks Muslims to fight people based on their faith. It’s taken… out of context.”
.....And… so, I think it’s important that we teach students about a major org religion in the context. And I was also curious, do you think that would be important context, or just for students to know real history that the founder of Islam, Muhammad, married a six-year-old girl, and consummated that marriage at the age of nine? Her name was Aisha. Do you think that would also be an important piece of context for our students?” Hall asked.
Someone called a point of order, saying they didn’t see how this related to TEACs. She was told that TEACs referenced religion.
Hall, to his credit, would not let it go, but Zayan simply kept deflecting and would not answer his questions.
.....Again, the head of the meeting claimed they had consulted with legal counsel and that she could testify since she has a First Amendment right in this context because it was a public hearing. The reasoning did not appear to be a solid legal argument, but instead, one to protect the board from a lawsuit from CAIR.
Hall was not having any of it: “Okay, I won’t listen to them pushing Sharia in our schools.”
He proceeded to get up and walk out in protest at that point as the representative from CAIR started speaking concerning children’s history curricula, where the organization wants Islam, and by default, Sharia and the Muslim Brotherhood, represented.
.....Following Hall’s impressive take-down of CAIR’s representative, another Texan Christian, State Board of Education warrior Julie Pickren (District 7), joined the fight. She laid it out clearly what is going on with the Islamic indoctrination of our kids.
“Howdy, Texas. So, today, we had the foreign terrorist organization testify before the Texas State Board of Education. Again, the Council on American Muslim Relations… which Governor Abbott has designated as a foreign terrorist organization. Which the FBI has said is the face of the Muslim Brotherhood, another terrorist organization,” Pickren opened up by saying.
She went on to share the demand letter presented by Zayan, who claimed she is the operations manager for CAIR.
Teach that 1/3 of ALL slaves in America were Muslim, enslaved, and killed because of their Muslim faith.
Erase the Mayflower Compact.
Eliminate Christopher Columbus and Columbus Day.
Cease Thanksgiving – including President George Washington’s 1789 Thanksgiving Proclamation and prayer.

· Aviation depends almost entirely on jet fuel.
· Merchant ships for global trade rely on bunker fuel.
· Military mobility, tanks, aircraft, naval fleets, and supply chains, remains inseparable from liquid hydrocarbons due to their unmatched energy density, storability, and reliability.
Collectively, closure of the Phillips refinery in Southern California and the Valero refinery in Northern California provided about 17% of the state’s crude oil processing capacity to provide transportation fuels demanded in California. Thus, transportation fuel shortages are imminent for California, and will be importing those transportation fuels from new refineries in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
· Fuel for the ships in three of the busiest Ports in America, located in California.
o Port of Los Angeles had more than 1,800 vessel arrivals in 2024, which includes cruise and merchant ships.
o Port of Long Beach handled over 9.6 million container units in 2024, indicating a very high volume of ship activity, plus cruise ships.
o Port of Oakland, which also handles significant cargo volumes, contributes to the total number of cruise and merchant ships needing fuel.
· Jet fuel: With all its 145 airports, including 9 international airports and 41 military airports, the demand is 13 million gallons of aviation fuel daily. Several of those airports have direct pipelines to local refineries. In 2019, California consumed 16.7% of the national total of jet fuel, making it the largest consumer of jet fuel in America.
· Gasoline: For its 30 million vehicles, California is the second-largest consumer of motor gasoline among the 50 states, consuming 42 million gallons a day of gasoline, just behind Texas.
· Diesel: Diesel fuel is the second largest transportation fuel used in California, consuming 10 million gallons a day of diesel to support the state’s trucking of products from 3 of the busiest shipping ports in America
For California’s energy island, all in-state transportation fuel demands within the State for diesel fuel, jet fuel, bunker fuel, gasoline, and the fuel demands of the military and space programs have been manufactured in-state.
The supply chain of fuels and products refined from raw crude oil will face severe imbalance, leading to higher costs and shortages for future generations. In the future, new refinery units that are planned or announced in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East will be providing the transportation fuel to California’s 9 international airports, 41 military airports, and 3 of the largest shipping ports!
