A major geopolitical flashpoint erupted across the Middle East on Saturday after Iran launched missile and drone attacks targeting multiple Gulf nations, prompting Saudi Arabia to issue a blistering condemnation of what it described as “brutal Iranian aggression.”
Saudi officials made it clear that Riyadh is standing in full solidarity with the nations targeted in Saturday’s coordinated Iranian assault.
In its statement, the Kingdom warned that the attacks represent blatant violations of international law and expressed its readiness to assist its regional allies with “all its capabilities.”
According to a statement from the Saudi Foreign Ministry:
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia condemns and denounces in the strongest terms the treacherous Iranian aggression and the blatant violation of the sovereignty of each of the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, affirming its full solidarity and standing by the side of the sister states, and placing all its capabilities at their disposal to support them in all measures they take, and warning of the grave consequences of the continued violation of the sovereignty of states and the principles of international law.

Hitler declared war on the Soviet Union and the United States after he was already fighting some pretty tough opposition. It didn't work out well for him either.
I see this as a version of the 80/20 issues that now seem common in the US.
In a situation in which 80% of the US population supports something (ex. the SAVE Act), the Democrats choose to support the side of the issue preferred by 20% of the population. It’s dumb.
With Iran, the government has chosen extremely poorly. They have no friends. They are making as many enemies as they can. The government is in a hopeless situation. The government is on the 20% side.
The Iranian people better realize that they are the 80% side as soon as they rise up. They better get to it.
NOTE: I’m not trying to predict population percentages in Iran for government support. I’m merely saying that one side is an obvious loser. The People ought to see that and take steps to put themselves on the side that will obviously win.
“The Iranian people better realize that they are the 80% side as soon as they rise up. They better get to it.”
Totally agree.
That’s the whole point.
“The Iranian people better realize that they are the 80% side as soon as they rise up. They better get to it.”
Everything depends on that. Hope they have somehow gotten armed in preparation for this time.
We need to airdrop AR-15s and ammo to the Iranian people.
I have decided to cancel my trip to Dubai.
Fortunately I had not booked yet.
“We need to airdrop AR-15s and ammo to the Iranian people.”
Yup. Or some such. I don’t know how our guys would think this best done.
I have a friend in the UAE. He was whining about Orange Hitler this AM because Iran attack the UAE. The irony was lost on him. Iran has attacked the UAE before.
CHNAGE THE NAME BACK TO PERSIA!!
