Oh, I’m sure the teacher will have the kids protest at an abortion clinic next week. Right?

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

You KNOW they got ‘extra credit’ or a pizza party for this crap.
Reminds me of the brainwashed children that were brought to confront Dianne Feinstein and she wasn’t having any of it. The children sat in shocked silence but their teacher jumped right in and defended HER opinions to Sen Feinstein. Those children were on the verge of tears and they explained to Feinstein that we ONLY HAVE TEN YEARS BEFORE WE ALL DIE FROM CLIMATE CHANGE.
These liberals need to be brought to heel.

I made the exact same point on a local Washington State group FB post about this very thing. The administrators and teachers are "allowing" the kids to protest because they say the kids are passionate about having their voices heard. That is a huge pile of BS. I'll tell you what the kids are passionate about. NOT BEING IN CLASS for any reason. This is truancy, plain and simple.
Like you said, what if the kids were passionate about the right to life and wanted to go peacefully protest an abortion clinic? Hmmm, what's that I hear? Not allowed. Double standards.
Try this on for size. "What you permit, you promote". So these teachers and administrators are promoting OUR kids protests LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS. This is just another step in the Socialists playbook to groom our kids to their sick and demented and failed ways.
I personally witnessed one of these situations a couple days ago on my way to Costco in Lacey (next to Olympia). A LOT of kids with the F-bomb ICE on their signs at 11:15am which is during school hours. Not an adult in sight. If any adults were there, they hid themselves really well because I think they knew some people would call them out right then and there.

The sensible thing to do next is allow school choice funds to that mother. Then cut off all federal funding to that school district.

Before she went completely senile. Feinstein was one of the better Democrats in the Senate. Low bar, I know....

This type of behavior from schools is causing the lack of education our children are receiving by cutting their classroom time.
Another thing that they did up here in the liberal community of Seattle was get the word ICE would be at the school, shut it down, and sequester the kids into hiding in shelter, in multiple schools at once.

If I had kids, I’d sue them for enough money so the teaches would come to my house, one at a time. But I am not losing anything except my tax money for that day as I have no kids in the game. The parents should get together and class action court their back sides.

Yesterday morning my daughter’s school invited parents to share a morning pastry with our kids. The event started with the Pledge of Allegiance. Of course it’s a private school.
