While reports have identified the Jiutian as a “general-purpose drone,” concepts have shown it releasing drone swarms with a range of surface and maritime strike munitions....Notably, the drone has a 6 ton payload capacity for either munitions, drone swarms and humanitarian relief material.
A concept video on CCTV 14 from May 2025 shows a group of Jiutians releasing swarms of hundreds of smart quadcopter-like systems and other winged attack drones. These were then shown coordinating and overwhelming the U.S. Navy’s aircraft carriers and supporting battleships, clearing the way for anti-ship ballistic, cruise and surface strike missiles.
Footage in the same clip also showed the ability to carry a range of air-to-air and air-to-ground missiles, two of which could be identified as the PL-12AE and the PL-15. Clips from the exhibition showing military payload have existed since November 2024.
The same operational concept could, at least theoretically, be utilized for land warfare. The drone swarms undertaking anti-infantry roles – validated on the Ukrainian front with both sides using cheap UAVs for hunting individual soldiers, fortified bunkers, machine gun nests and even counter-drone missions – can mutually support other air-to-ground weapons launched from the Jiutian on large tactical targets.

China dominates the global drone industry, particularly in the commercial and consumer segments (which include hobby, enterprise, industrial, and many civilian uses). There isn't a single universal percentage for “all drones” because the market splits between commercial/consumer drones and military/government ones, and data varies by segment, year, and source (e.g., market share by sales/revenue vs. units produced vs. components).
Key figures from recent reports (mostly 2024–2025 data):
Consumer drones: Chinese companies (led by DJI) control around 90% of the global market. DJI alone has often been cited at 70–90%+ in consumer/hobby segments, with some 2025 detections showing DJI at over 83% in certain monitoring data.
So, we now only need to expend one munition to knock out hundreds of their individual attack drones.
Good to know!
.
I don’t think Russia is an enemy of the UnitedStates
I do think that Communist China is.
Wrong, they are strategic allies against the US. Both have nukes aimed at the US. China supplies the Ruskies with drones.
A concept video shows them taking out the defenses of a US Navy carrier group.
A concept video.
Marvel Studios could do better, and we have Iron Man and Captain America.
“I don’t think Russia is an enemy of the UnitedStates”
LOL! Russia was allied with all the evil powers!
“So, we now only need to expend one munition to knock out hundreds of their individual attack drones.”
That was my thought. Big, slow and not steathly.
Last year, I invested in two US companies in the drone industry: Unusual Machines (UMAC) and Red Cat (RCAT). I recently sold part of my position in each for a 100% profit. That said, I think the stock prices on both are still low.
“Both have nukes aimed at the US.”
Yep, and we have nukes aimed at them as a relic of the Cold War 70+ years. Russia is not the Soviet Union, All nuclear powers have nukes aimed at others , except MAYBE their “friends”.
“China supplies Russia with drones.”
Which of those drones in your deluded perspective threatens the United States? We have strategic ‘allies’ against Russia who are desperately trying to keep us in the proxxy war against Russia if not to all out get us in a direct one.
Youse guys sound like neocons Linda, Bolton, ‘lil Marco, etal. and EU warpigs Stasi, Macaroon and Ursula deVille..
“Youse guys sound like neocons Linda, Bolton, ‘lil Marco, etal. and EU warpigs Stasi, Macaroon and Ursula deVille..”
I see you will not address my post directly and, instead, resort to a personal attacks.
Very leftists.
What country, do you think is the biggest suppliers of components such as lithium salts, neodymium magnets, navigation chips, and thermal sensors — to build Ukraine drones?
It’s China!!
The Ukies are fully relying on Chinese parts for their production.
They probably got the idea from that stupid flying aircraft carrier from Avengers.
Of course, for them and the Ruskies are relying on Chinese drone.
"Our suppliers are making efforts to cope with Ukrainian and Russian customers. They are trying to make sure that we are not at the same factory at the same time," Yakovenko told the publication. As soon as the car with the Russian representatives leaves, the car with the Ukrainians drives in. Sometimes the Ukrainian partners are escorted through a side door to empty conference rooms. https://biz.liga.net/en/all/all/novosti/ft-ukrainian-and-russian-drone-manufacturers-compete-for-chinese-components
Note that I did not want my use of the term “Ruskies” to be offensive, which corresponded to your “Ukies.”
You think that it is delusion to ascertain that China's drones is a threat to the US, nor an expansionist Russia, allied with Iran, N. Korea and China?
As for delusion, answer the question no isolationist yet has:
What would the the world would look like if American was strict isolationists and withdrew all forces in the world, and what threats would it face (like China be controlling the S. China sea, taking over Taiwan, the Philippines, while Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz, etc. and with Russia controlling Ukraine and more)?
My Point, genius. China is the enemy !
More Chinese super weapon propaganda. Next will be their supersonic, hydroponic, Tape Worm missile
