As U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents surged into Minneapolis, Minnesota, one local McDonald’s made a public display against the upholding of federal immigration law.
The Daily Wire posted an image of the sign, which was captioned “NO ICE ACCESS IN THIS BUSINESS,” to social media platform X on Thursday afternoon.
The sign was clear that it was intended as a “NOTICE TO ALL LAW ENFORCEMENT & IMMIGRATION AGENTS.”
“This is a private business,” it said.
“You are not permitted to enter non-public areas of this business (including offices, break rooms, storage areas, and staff-only areas) without a valid JUDICIAL WARRANT signed by a judge or magistrate.”
After more legal threats, the sign concluded, “IF YOU ENTER, YOU ARE TRESPASSING, AND WE WILL SEEK LEGAL RECOURSE.”
A reporter from The Daily Wire paid a visit to the McDonald’s and confirmed the attempt to bar ICE agents from entry with a security guard.
“Yeah, just to let you know, at the end of the day, this is private property,” the security guard said.
“So you can’t just break the law because you’re a federal agent,” he added. “It’s like coming into your house or coming to any other restaurant. There’s rules.”
The security guard said he was not sure whether the manager was the individual who posted the sign.
McDonald’s USA said it contacted the franchise owner regarding the sign, which has since been removed.
“We’re in touch with the owner/operator of this franchised restaurant and have confirmed that this flyer was posted without approval and has since been taken down,” the fast food behemoth told Blaze Media.
The owner/operator refreshed employees about their policies regarding signage.
The controversy occurs as federal agents investigate rampant welfare fraud in Minneapolis following reports of Somali community members defrauding state welfare and social services funds.
A warrant is not needed for the following:
* Exigent Circumstances
* Crime in plain view
* Emergencies
* Hot pursuit
signs like these are excellent warnings of WHERE to avoid food and beverage surreptitiously contaminated with spit, poop, and/or other ...
and NOT just for ICE and/or other Fed officers either, but the public at large, because the low-lifes running the kitchen are clearly vindictive arseholes ...
[of course, sign or no sign, fast food outfits are ALL pretty much run by low-lifes in blue cities and simply should never be trusted to serve wholesome comestibles]
Manager? So, if someone blocked the entrance in support of LEO, how long before local popo would show up and arrest them? PRO crime blockage, not so much. Still think the republicrats should paint all their opponents as PRO-crime this election cycle.
As I understand it, MacDonalds business model is that the corporation owns ALL the real estate where every restaurant sits. Macdonald’s corp IS the private property owner. They likely instructed the franchisee that as the ACTUAL owner of the private property, they favor serving law enforcement.
Their drinks are going to be warm.

Most dogs I know would eat McD’s in a heart beat. Very few people, however would eat there.
There must be rules.
Definitely an indicator ICE could do some business there.
Now that I’ve got a copy of this sign, I’m going to go around taping one on the door to every McDonalds I find myself in the vicinity of. I’ll give them a reason to just sell dog food to kids and not get involved in sports.
Corporate should pull the franchise

Just park a visibly signed ICE van right across the street — destroy their business. Run it like the YouTuber did with the Learing Center.
The only thing good at Mickey Ds is their coffee.

I also have seen this story multiple times without including which location(s) this was.
Since it is a franchise operation it seems that is an important part of the story.
McDonald’s the corporation should come with a crane and lift their golden arches off of the building.
Or just put up a sign at all locations, ‘for left wingers only’.
I used to eat their bad food because it was cheap. Now that their prices are outrageous, they’ve helped me break the fast food habit and eat healthier.
When I was a young bachelor, I took my best cat Jean-Marie (then an older kitten) to McDonalds. I order cheeseburgers at the drive through, and held the burger towards him expecting him to nibble on the patty.
He immediately placed one paw on top, and another on the bottom, engaged claws, and pulled the whole burger out of my hand (I was nopt holding tightly), proceeding to eat the whole burger... meat, cheese, pickle, onions, bun, condiments. I was laughing too hard to stop him. He didn’t get sick, either.
