In the latest episode of the Deep State circus that’s turned our justice system into a bad joke, a 92-year-old federal judge appointed by none other than Bill Clinton back in the ’90s has been assigned to oversee the high-profile case against Venezuelan socialist dictator Nicolás Maduro in New York.
This is the same judge who has a track record of rulings that seem tailor-made to thwart President Trump’s agenda and protect left-wing interests.
U.S. District Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein, who took senior status way back in 2011, but somehow keeps popping up in major cases.
He has issued several controversial rulings adverse to Donald Trump and his administration. These rulings have spanned Trump’s time as a private citizen, his first presidency, and his current second term.

Here we go....SMH

We really need a mandatory retirement age for judges. No one who is 92 should be working unless they own their own business and want to.
“Hellerstein was born in New York City on December 28, 1933, to Rose and Max Hellerstein, and is an Orthodox Jew.[2][3][4][5][6] He attended the Bronx High School of Science, graduating in 1950.[7][8] He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College in 1954.[9] He received a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School in 1956, and was editor of the Columbia Law Review.[9][10] He was a law clerk for Judge Edmund Palmieri of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York from 1956 to 1957. “
Who said we have no kings.
Hopefully he will croak after the first hearing.
Congress needs to investigate how these judges are getting assigned to high profile Trump cases. I count 25 regular U.S. district judges in the Southern District of NY, and 21 senior (semi-retired) U.S. district judges there. This is not random selection process. Some court administrator is assigning the judge he/she deems most hostile to Trump to these cases. Congress should investigate and force the weasel John Roberts to take some action to restore trust in the judiciary.
Judges randomly assigned, my ass!
It would certainly be a modern American experience if our military could pull off that kind of an operation only to have a judge order the guy flown back home.
Deep Stater for a Deep State operation.
Along with offering that last night, Robert Barnes credited the operation to Trump’s paying back/off the Zionist billionaire Paul Singer, who kicked in $50M late in the 24 campaign after having bought IIRC $30B in discounted Citgo bonds for $7B. His take I believe was that the move will enable an easing of sanctions AND the paying off the the bonds in full, leading to a potential $23B in profit to Singer.
What determines trial venue in a case like this? Could DOJ have avoided trial by this court?
apparently it didn’t “just” happen, the case was docketed in 2020 and is an existing case...perhaps the DOJ had no choice and thus explains why Maduro went to NY instead of another district, e.g. Florida.
IANAL.
92? Did he vote for Truman?.................
Texas or Florida federal courts. Why would the administration court disaster?
He should be booked on terrorism charges and sent to Gitmo. He does not have rights that Americans do.
Who did the shopping for this judge. My bet is Letisha James!!! That this alt.sex degenerate got some revenge here.Eric Trump lives in NY for Trump Org business reasons. This must be awful for him and his family.
heads up
Why was he indicated in southern New York?
Acts of war like narcoterrorism are NOT something dealt with in civilian courts.
Very very bad mistake on Trump's part to let the libs have anything to do with this.
Otherwise it was a great move by Trump.
We will just have to see.
Unless: Maybe the discovery phase will allow us to straighten out our disatrous federal election corruption via Venezuela.
I sure hope it is four dimensional chess that I'm witnessing.
But praise to Trump for doing this liberation of Venezuela and capture of Maduro, which gets Cuba, Columbia, USSR, China, all the dogs, back under the porch for a while.
