Minnesota state officials had asked the court for an emergency injunction to stop “Operation Metro Surge,” a surge of roughly 3,000 federal immigration officers that they argued went beyond lawful federal authority and violated state sovereignty.
They had accused the administration of using enforcement as political leverage against the predominantly Democratic state, alleging civil-rights violations and disproportionate targeting.

Correspondence between Washington Commanders and Philadelphia 76ers owner Josh Harris and Epstein were included in the latest files released.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that Harris had correspondence with Epstein after his guilty plea in 2008 for solicitation of prostitution with a minor, but prior to his arrest on child sex trafficking charges in 2019.
Reacting to the release of the files, a spokesperson for Harris said the businessman “never had an independent relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.”
Records also show other interactions between Lutnick and Epstein dating back to at least 2011, including social engagements and communications about shared interests. Where’s the outcry from the leftist media, leftist politicians and the UN as Palestinian Islamic Jihad murders Palestinians and show absolutely no remorse? You won’t hear it, just as you didn’t hear it when Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad used their own people as human shields, and just as you don’t hear it when blacks kill blacks in America and jihadists kill blacks in Africa. The reason is obvious: they don’t care about black lives or Palestine lives. They are driven by antisemitism and hatred for their own countries’ Judeo-Christian tradition. They emotionally navel-gaze, so much that as Israel fights to survive, they condemn Israel without offering any solutions to the human shields problem. Ditto for the American police and ICE who are doing their jobs to keep America safe. These leftists despise righteousness and defend lawlessness — increasingly with violence.
How many leftists have been out in the streets protesting against the Islamic Republic of Iran? They seem to have no interest in the genuine resistance of the Iranian people against their oppressors. They only support the pro-Palestinian “resistance” (from the River to the Sea), which is actually an Islamic jihad.

The world seems largely to think that Israel is so eager for normalization with Muslim countries that ordinary conditions don’t apply. Saudi Arabia has already made it clear repeatedly that it considers no normalization possible without Israel’s return to its pre-1967 borders (aka “the Auschwitz borders”), and the Saudis also expect that East Jerusalem would be established as the capital of a Palestinian state. For the Israelis to accept such conditions would be utter madness.
Israel also has its own expectations; those expectations, however, are reasonable and mandatory for Israel’s very survival. Netanyahu has now stated that he is not interested in Saudi Arabia if it aligns with anti-Israel forces such as Turkey (whose attitude toward Israel is akin to that of the Islamic Republic of Iran) and Qatar. Both countries are Hamas supporters.
In the latest sign that a normalization deal between Israel and Saudi Arabia is not going to be signed any time in the foreseeable future, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday that he is closely following Riyadh’s recent shift toward Turkey and Qatar.
“We expect from anybody who wants normalization or peace with us that they not participate in efforts steered by forces or ideologies that want the opposite of peace,” Netanyahu said at a press conference in response to a question by The Times of Israel.

I had heard that there might be 'Gulf effect snow' along the Gulf coast in - I think - your area... sort of the same idea as 'lake effect snow' in Chicago and surroundings. No accumulation on the ground, just snow flurries. ❓
