DeStefano: ‘I will never tell Letitia James who bought my guns’

Orlando, Florida resident and Indie Guns owner Lawrence Michael DeStefano wants his 50,000 New York customers to know he will never give up their names, even though New York State Attorney General Leticia James has threatened to put him in prison for more than 500 years if he doesn’t comply immediately and furnish their personal information and purchase history.
As we first reported last week, DeStefano has been held in Florida’s Orange County Jail for nearly 90 days. He could be taken to New York’s infamous Rikers Island any day.
“I will never tell Letitia James who bought my guns,” DeStefano said Sunday night from the Orange County jail. “I care about my customers. They should know I will never turn over their customer data. That’s why James went criminal, but I will never give them up. They are law abiding citizens and do not need to worry.”
DeStefano’s firm Indie Guns was one of 10 self-built arms dealers James targeted because they allegedly shipped gun parts kits to New York. The other nine firms handed over their customer data to James, DeStefano said, but he refused. Instead, he decided to fight James and her unconstitutional out-of-state requests.
Two New York State detectives accompanied ATF agents in October, when they executed search warrants of DeStefano’s home and rental properties. The ATF agents seized 68 items from DeStefano’s home—including $500,0000 worth of gold Krugerrands and $110,000 in cash—but took thousands of gun-parts kits from his rental properties. More than 100 typed pages were needed to list all of the items seized from DeStefano. Most were Polymer 80 kits.
DeStefano has sold his “self-built arms” kits to customers in all 50 states, but New York is the only state where he ever encountered legal problems.
On Nov. 12, 2025, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul signed a letter and sent it to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, charging DeStefano with 71 state crimes, which total 521 years behind bars.
They included:

2 counts of Sale of a Criminal Firearm in the First Degree
39 counts of Criminal Sale of a Firearm in the Third Degree

On December 5, 2025, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis responded with a letter sent to all Florida Sheriffs and other peace officers in the state, commanding them to arrest DeStefano, who was already in custody.
DeSantis did not respond to calls or emails seeking to know why he ordered DeStefano’s arrest.
This is certainly not the first time DeStefano and James have battled publicly.
After James won a $7.8 million civil lawsuit against him—DeStefano did not go to New York for the case—he expressed his outrage over social media.
“I had around 15,000 followers on Instagram, but a few days after my posts I had a quarter-million followers,” DeStefano said. “They quickly shut down my Instagram account.”
He expects to be extradited to New York within the coming days, but he is more concerned about his customers, who he said may be worrying about what will happen next. Said DeStefano . . .
I care about my customers. They do not need to worry. Gun privacy to me is sacrosanct, just like confession. Please tell all of my 50,000 customers in New York that they don’t have to hide anything. At the center of the legal battle is whether faith-based health care institutions can be compelled by the state to provide euthanasia, officially referred to as Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD), even when doing so violates their moral and religious convictions.

A newly proposed bill in the Utah Legislature would stop taxpayer funding of abortion companies.

Underage girls in Austria are reportedly being approached by men of Arab descent who offer them drugs and promise more in Vienna, it has been claimed, after authorities revealed the death of another 16-year-old girl in a Viennese hotel room.
As reported by Heute, investigators have concluded that the victim likely died from a drug overdose after she was discovered in a hotel near Vienna’s Stadthalle on Oct. 31 last year. Information regarding the death was only released on Thursday.
According to Austrian broadcaster ORF, sexual exploitation by a migrant gang is among the scenarios being examined by investigators.
Heute reports that seven minors under the age of 18 who were under the supervision of child and youth services died in Vienna in 2025 as a result of drug use. Many of those affected are girls from unstable family environments or living in foster or group care.
Incidents are not limited to the Austrian capital, with Salzburg also reportedly a breeding ground for gangs preying on vulnerable young girls who are plied with drugs and alcohol, and exploited.
Belinda Plattner, head of child and adolescent psychiatry in Salzburg, told ORF that the scale of youth drug consumption has sharply increased. “We are currently seeing significantly more young people who use drugs. At least in Salzburg, this has never been the case to this extent before,” she said.
She told the broadcaster’s ZIB2 news program, “Girls have no value in this male-dominated society – they are worthless girls who can be easily manipulated. They are devalued – at the same time, they are lured to be taken into these apartments. And then, as they told me, sexual assaults repeatedly occur.”
Plattner described how girls aged 14 to 16 are deliberately targeted, particularly around Salzburg’s main train station.

After warning of imminent attacks on Hezbollah infrastructure on Monday, the IDF began striking Hezbollah and Hamas terror targets in Lebanon, the military said.
The IDF said the strikes, which were carried out north of the Litani River, stopped attempts to rebuild terrorist infrastructure in the area.
The attack comprised four strikes, and two subterranean Hezbollah structures were among the infrastructure targeted, the army said.
The initial announcement warning of the strikes, made by IDF Arabic-language spokesperson Col. Avichay Adraee on X/Twitter, identified locations in the towns of Kfar Hatta and Ain Al-Tinah as the targets.
Adraee said action would be taken in response to attempts by Hezbollah to reestablish its activities in the area. It did not mention that Hamas targets were among those that would be hit.
Adraee’s post on X included maps of the imminent strike sites, with the target zones shaded in red.
“We urge the residents of the buildings marked in red in the attached maps and the buildings adjacent to them: You are located near buildings used by Hezbollah, and for your safety, you are required to evacuate them immediately and stay away from them by a distance of at least 300 meters,” he said.
“Remaining in the area of the marked buildings puts you in danger.”

Los Angeles County moves to create ‘ICE-free’ zones
“Los Angeles County will not allow its property to be used as a staging ground for violence caused by the Trump administration,” supervisor Lindsay Horvath said
he Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors is moving forward with an effort to create “ICE-free” zones, prohibiting immigration enforcement officers from being on county-owned spaces.
The board voted unanimously Tuesday to instruct county counsel to draft an ordinance for the board’s consideration within 30 days.
The measure, led by Supervisor Lindsay Horvath, would prohibit agents from staging, processing or operating in such areas, if it receives final approval, according to The Los Angeles Times.
“Los Angeles County will not allow its property to be used as a staging ground for violence caused by the Trump administration,” Horvath said.
Horvath said that since ICE’s deployment to Los Angeles in June, “federal immigration enforcement has too often escalated into extreme violence.”

The founder, transgender activist Ruby Corado, was also ordered to be under two years of supervised release after the prison sentence, if U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement doesn’t move to deport Corado, Judge Trevor McFadden said in the sentencing hearing.
McFadden in announcing the sentence said Corado “found an opportunity to defraud U.S. Americans,” instead of helping them, according DCNewsNow.com.
Corado, also known as Vladimir Orlando Artiga Corado, pleaded guilty July 17, 2024, to wire fraud.
Corado received more than $1.3 million from the Paycheck Protection Program and the Economic Injury Disaster Loan program for Casa Ruby.
“Instead of using the funds as promised, Corado stole over $950,000, transferred at least $150,000 to bank accounts in El Salvador, and hid it from the IRS,” U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro said. The money is to be repaid to the Small Business Administration.

The federal government is now taking a fresh look into the 2011 death of Ellen Greenberg, A Philadelphia teacher woman who died after 20 stab wounds. Ten of those wounder were in the back of her neck and base of her head, but her death was ruled suicide.
According to sources that spoke to NBC10, the US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania is interested in looking at the case. The federal government has requested documents related to her death, and obtained them last month, the outlet reported.
Greenberg, 27 at the time of her death, had 20 stab wounds to her front as well as back. The medical examiner had initially ruled that it was a homicide, but later ruled it a suicide and her death has remained that way on records since. Greenberg’s parents, however, have fought to reopen the case and have argued that she was murdered.
Greenberg was found dead by her fiance Sam Goldberg in the apartment they shared. A 10-inch blade was found sticking out of her chest. Her parents have long accused the local government and justice system of covering up a botched homicide investigation.
In January of 2025, the original medical examiner in the case signed a sworn statement that Greenberg’s death should be ruled something other than suicide. Goldberg has maintained that it was her mental illness that caused her to stab herself repeatedly to death. However, a doctor treating Greenberg before the death said she was “not suicidal” and wrote in a report that she had bruises that “suggest domestic abuse sufficient to account for her anxiety.” Additionally, one of the stab wounds was reportedly made after she would have already died.

Jonathan Ross, the ICE agent who was rammed with a vehicle driven by activist Renee Good on January 7 in Minneapolis, is reportedly suffering from internal bleeding to the torso following the attack. On the day of the attack, officials said that Ross had been taken to the hospital and released the same day.
Two US officials briefed on Ross’ medical condition told CBS News that Ross is suffering from internal bleeding. It is unclear how extensive the injury is, and the Department of Homeland Security has confirmed Ross’ injury.
DHS Secretary Kristi Noem told reporters on January 7, “The officer was hit by the vehicle. She hit him. He went to the hospital. A doctor did treat him. He has been released.” Ross fatally shot Good when she drove her car into Ross in an incident that was caught on camera.
It was revealed in the wake of the attack that Ross previously suffered injuries after being dragged behind a car driven by an illegal immigrant. Vice President JD Vance told reporters the day following the attack that the ICE agent “nearly had his life ended, dragged by a car six months ago, 33 stitches in his leg. So you think maybe he’s a little bit sensitive about somebody ramming him with an automobile.”
US Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino said on Sunday that Ross has had “several threats against his life” following the attack, adding that the agent is “in a safe location. He’s recovering from those injuries, and we’re thankful that he’s recovering.”
