exican transnational criminal organizations (TCOs) continue to drive the nation’s deadly synthetic drug crisis by sourcing, manufacturing, distributing and financially processing drugs such as fentanyl and methamphetamine, which have contributed to rising overdose deaths nationwide, a U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) report warned.
The 67-page analysis is mandated by the Preventing the Financing of Illegal Synthetic Drugs Act.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), provisional data show that more than 42,000 overdose deaths involved illicit synthetic opioids in the U.S. in a recent 12-month period. Fentanyl, specifically, remains more potent than many other opioids, which increases the risk of fatal overdoses.
Mexican TCOs — more commonly known as cartels — are identified in the report as the major suppliers of the top two synthetic drugs driving overdose fatalities in the U.S.
“Mexican TCOs use diverse business strategies to directly or indirectly source fentanyl and methamphetamine precursor
chemicals, primarily from China-based chemical companies,” read the report.
“According to DEA’s 2024 drug threat assessment and a nonprofit entity report, TCOs may obtain precursor chemicals through several channels: (1) directly from suppliers in China; (2) through intermediaries in the U.S., such as reshipping companies or complicit companies or individuals; and (3) via brokers who work independently of any TCO,” it added.
GAO noted that the DEA has reported that Mexican TCOs are “generally not directly involved in local sale and distribution” but they “leverage relationships with U.S.-based trafficking organizations who supply the drugs to local independent drug trafficking groups and gangs.”
These criminal organizations use a mix of electronic transfers and virtual currencies to fund purchases of precursor chemicals primarily from suppliers located in China.

A former MI6 operative has issued a stark warning that Britain faces the threat of a catastrophic terrorist attack comparable to 9/11 or the 7/7 London.
Aimen Dean, who worked as a double agent within the terrorist organisation for eight years while feeding intelligence to British security services, believes an attack is inevitable.
“It’s not about if another 9/11 or 7/7 attack will happen; it’s about when,” he told the Sun.
The former informant, whose undercover work proved instrumental in thwarting major plots against Western targets, warned the UK harbours “hundreds” of potential Al-Qaida sleeper agents who could be activated to strike at any moment.

When Steven Spielberg created the Righteous Persons Foundation with some of the profits from Schindler’s List, he wanted to educate people about the Holocaust and build up Jewish life in America. “I could not accept any money from ‘Schindler’s List’ — if it even made any money. It was blood money, and needed to be put back into the Jewish community.”
“My parents didn’t keep kosher and we mainly observed all the holidays when my grandparents stayed with us,” the filmmaker said at the time. “I knew I was missing a great deal of my natural heritage, and as I became conscious of it, I began racing to catch up.”
The race has long since gone the other way.
The last time the Righteous Persons Foundation, named after the rescuers of Holocaust survivors, funded Holocaust programs was in 2021. Most of its funding now goes to radical social justice groups including anti-Israel organizations like those protesting Israel.
Since 2021, Spielberg’s foundation has provided $650,000 to T’ruah, an anti-Israel hate group which took part in the Manhattan street blocking and whose CEO celebrated the move and gleefully posted photos of attendees falsely accusing Israel of “ethnic cleansing”.

NYT Demands Mentally Ill Woman Euthanized by Canadian Government
The New York Times is demanding that the Canadian government advances it’s rapid expansion of “assisted suicide” laws in order to swiftly euthanize a woman suffering from mental health issues.
It comes as Canada’s spiraling assisted-suicide program is once again under international fire after the United Nations Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities called on the Canadian government to repeal its planned expansion of euthanasia for those suffering solely from mental illness, a policy critics warn will normalize suicide as “healthcare.”
On March 21, the UN committee published a report urging Canada to repeal “Track 2 MAiD” and halt the scheduled 2027 expansion of assisted death eligibility.
Committee Vice-Chair Rosemary Kayess issued a chilling rebuke, calling Canada’s euthanasia regime a “step back into state-sponsored eugenics.”
Yet just days later, the New York Times ran a nearly 4,000-word feature romanticizing the expansion by presenting the case of 48-year-old comedian Claire Brosseau in a piece titled:

President Donald Trump’s administration has announced a sweeping restructuring of how U.S. taxpayer dollars are used in United Nations humanitarian programs, warning UN agencies they must “adapt, shrink, or die.”
The warning comes as Washington shifts funding toward efficiency, accountability, and core lifesaving missions.
The State Department said the agreement forces the UN system to consolidate operations, slash bureaucratic overhead, and address what officials described as “ideological creep” inside aid agencies, while still preserving America’s commitment to emergency relief.

Why Greenland?
Trump has stated recently that his desire to acquire control of Greenland is for national security reasons related to the encroachment of China and Russia into the Western Hemisphere.
It’s likely he has Intelligence implicating China or Russia (or both) in a near-term plan to secure a beachhead there. If so, it’s critical to our national security to prevent that from happening. The only way to do that is to set up military installations, which requires some degree of control over the territory.
Thay doesn’t mean military conflict. The US has arrangements with Puerto Rico, American Samoa, etc., where we provide military protection and financial assistance without annexation or statehood.
