IIRC the moslem population of at least some EU countries is about 10%. And I'm pretty sure that Britain's moslem population is about 10%.

Ms Bardot likely has a much bigger problem at this point.

We know that if the Islamists had their way, we never would have seen much of Brigitte. She would have been required to wear a burqa in all her movies.

I had never heard of her...so I googled her. In her youth she was quite attractive.

I think the French have a term for people like this author.

A “phobia”, by definition, is an IRRATIONAL fear. It is impossible to have a “phobia” of mohammedanism.

RE:I had never heard of her...so I googled her. In her youth she was quite attractive.
I was the right age for that era as I grew up.
One point people aren’t saying.
Before her and others, that type of look for women did not exist. Like Marilyn Monroe and Mamie Van Doren, so many women tried to adopt their hair and other styles that these became taken for granted. Today, turn on Fox News or weather shows or the women on CSI or other shows look like they do because of the 1950s and 1960s women who started that look.

" I recalled Bardot’s late-in-life shift to supporting right-wing political candidates,"
She matured. They say it happens to some liberals.

Wait until you hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth, when Weinstein is found not guilty during his retrial. What he did, was use female expectations of a job or stardom, to bed them.

Western Civilization has always embraced "beauty". The chick that wrote this screed is a huge sexual and racial hypocrite hell bent on disingenuously deconstructing Western Civ.
"Now, in the wake of Roe v. Wade's unimaginable yet wholly predictable overturning, I'm thinking about my college self and her born-too-late riot grrrl aspirations again. I know now that the riot grrrl movement was nowhere near as inclusive as it could or should have been; as Mimi Thi Nguyen wrote for the feminist theory journal Women & Performance in 2012, “Women of color wondered out loud for whom writing ‘SLUT’ across their stomachs operated as reclamations of sexual agency against feminine passivity, where racisms had already inscribed such terms onto some bodies.” The privilege of feminist rebellion is too often reserved for white, upper-middle-class women, and for years, valid critiques like Nguyen's—and the simple passage of time—pushed me away from embracing the full-on riot grrrl aesthetic. (Also, practically speaking, it was hard to move through the working world in the Docs, baby-doll dresses, and smeared eyeliner I favored in 2013.) Still, to this day, I think of riot grrrl as the first flame to light the candle of my then-precious and unyielding rage—and now that the Supreme Court has ruled against my reproductive autonomy, I can feel the flame's warmth moving me toward that rage again.

She sure liked showcasing her booty. She would put the Kardshians to shame — "baby's got back".

In the same book, Bardot also criticized racial mixing, immigration, the role of women in politics, and Islam. The book contained a section attacking what she called the mixing of genes, and praised previous generations which, she said, had given their lives to push out invaders. On 10 June 2004, Bardot was convicted for a fourth time by a French court for inciting racial hatred and fined €5,000. Bardot denied the racial hatred charge and apologized in court, saying: “I never knowingly wanted to hurt anybody. It is not in my character.”
