RE:I had never heard of her...so I googled her. In her youth she was quite attractive.

I was the right age for that era as I grew up.

One point people aren’t saying.

Before her and others, that type of look for women did not exist. Like Marilyn Monroe and Mamie Van Doren, so many women tried to adopt their hair and other styles that these became taken for granted. Today, turn on Fox News or weather shows or the women on CSI or other shows look like they do because of the 1950s and 1960s women who started that look.

I am thankful for her 'Messy Bun' hairstyle. I wear it every day out here on the farm. It keeps your hair out of the Burdock. (Ask me how I know!) But I wear warmer clothing right now - it's WINTER!

I've also sported the Farrah Fawcett Flip and the Dorothy Hamilton Wedge cut in the past.

Believe it or not, there are You Tube Tutorials on how to style any of those hairstyles.
