California's gas prices have reached crisis levels—and drivers across the Golden State are demanding answers. This video exposes the complex web of factors keeping California's fuel costs the highest in the nation. Discover how the state's strict refinery requirements, low-carbon fuel standards, and environmental regulations create a perfect storm for sky-high prices at the pump. Learn why California's unique fuel blend can only be produced by a handful of refineries, how the Cap-and-Trade program adds hidden costs to every gallon, and why even minor supply disruptions send prices skyrocketing. We'll explore the refinery shutdowns threatening California's fuel supply, the oligopoly of oil companies controlling the market, and whether the state's aggressive push toward electric vehicles offers any relief for frustrated drivers still dependent on gasoline.

I’m sure that by now California drivers realize their government isn’t helping the process any.
Well, 50+ percent of Californians are okay with this and keep voting for more.
It’s a beautiful state, outside of all the liberals.
Governor Douchebag is PMS’d mad.
She’ll should promise to return when the high-speed bullet train project is completed and running.
I doubt it. I lived in CA one year. I did not meet many smart thinking people there.
I want them to suffer maximum pain. More, more more.

I’m happy for Californians because they are getting what the voted for and want.
LOL...give me a break!
"I'd like to buy a clue, Alex."

"Hmmm, how about another clue, Alex?"
Doubtful, hot tubs and pot keep them mellow.
Unfortunitly I cannot watch the video now. Nothing can be found on the internet about Shell leaving California now or in the future.
I will call BS on video.
CA is ugly brown 90%. Only beautiful parts are close to ocean or mountains. It is called golden State not because of abundance of gold, it is because the vegetation is all brown and not green. Northern California approaching Oregon border is beautiful. The so called Sacramento valley is a bug heaven. With awful climate.
Even if they figure it out they are screwed. The rats have welded the door shut. The voting rules are so rigged they are at the shoot their way out point. It’s illegal to even ask for ID when someone votes.
Shell is leaving. It is not BS. So is Valero. I think there is another big one too.
How’s that war on oil going Gasbag Newsome?
I doubt that stat. I worked out there for several years and voting day is tailer made for theft and fraud. It’s absolutely disgusting.
Will he ban companies from leaving now ? LOL
Prices are down in my neck of the Commiefornia woods. $3.40/gal at a few stations. It was at just under 5 dollars before Trump took office. We pay about $1.50 in gas tax plus sales tax. Our local Shell station is always about a dollar more.
