Indanapolis' OTHER airport on Mt. Comfort road has a LOT of new neighbors. Well, the buildings for them anyway. Lots of brand-new EMPTY warehouses with one wall of truck docks that are silently awaiting huge volumes of 'goods' to sort thru and deliver to YOU!
The world's way of delivering products to customers is undergoing a MASSIVE paradigm shift - cutting out the middleman.

That is what is so unfortunate, that AI would be misused. It could be used to greatly enhance everybody’s productivity, but those who want it are only interested in their personal profit and not the overall improvement for the human race.

It should be obvious the importance of AI in Wall Street trading operations, each Wall Street Trader probably makes $250,000 with bonuses....eliminate 70% of the traders and you save a boat load of money, replacing them with AI enabled trading and you have a much more adaptable operation that doesn’t need insurance, bonuses, always shows up for work, etc.
Amazon same situation, eliminate 80% of the workers on the warehouse floor with AI enabled machines that don’t need breaks, insurance, always show up for work, don’t unionize, etc...
Maybe you’re right, what good would be to have full knowledge of the battlefield and all your available options or weapons like AI enable drone swarms taking out targets without risking human life in battle, while we are at it, let’s get rid of things like night vision and stealth airplanes....
The possibilities of AI related systems in normal civilian and the military are endless, either you simply don’t want to see or believe things like the telephone were advances in technology that didn’t benefit anyone.
