These Black Friday shoppers are seeing red.
Walmart customers were left fuming after finding out Kraft’s new limited-edition “Mac Friday Box” had sold out in seconds.
The novelty item, designed to look like a 65-inch flat-screen, featured 65 boxes of classic Kraft Mac & Cheese inside and went on sale via the Walmart website at midnight Friday.
It retailed for $19.37, a nod to the year that Kraft was founded, with savvy shoppers enticed by the bargain price.
The low cost meant that each box inside equated to less than 30 cents — less than a quarter of the regular sale price.
Others were enticed by the novelty of the product, which was promoted ahead of time by social media influencers, including Zach Ciampa, who runs the account “Snack with Zach”.
Many eager customers claimed they spent hours waiting on the Walmart website ahead of time so that they could quickly add the item to their carts.
However, they were left devastated after realizing they simply weren’t fast enough.
“I literally had it in my cart and it sold out while I was hitting the finish button — what even,” one annoyed online shopper snapped.

I will have to keep that one on file.
“There is also a jar of cheddar cheese powder you can buy that can make the Mac and cheese taste more like it used to.”
So it will taste really more fake than it did in the70’s?.............
Garbage sold as food for humans.....
If "more fake" means better, ok with me.
Who buys Mac & Cheese from Walmart? There’s the problem right there.
Thoughts and prayers.
I thought Mac & Cheese was supposed to taste like that stuff from Kraft and others in those little boxes, until I had REAL Macaroni and Cheese made from scratch with real cheese and milk and butter and baked in an oven. I’ll never eat that boxed garbage ever again!.............
Ok, that’s what you’re talking about. Agreed, but once upon a time, I couldn’t afford the real stuff but still really liked and like the fake stuff.
Thanks
a, it’s a carb-a-palooza.
One family needs that much Kraft Mac & Cheese like they need a hundred bags of hamburger buns.
That was dinner at least three nights a week. Chili with beans and cornbread was another three. I fasted the seventh night because I was out of money.
People who were never really hungry have no idea how good cheap food can taste.
Mac and cheese, french fries, baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, rice, mac and cheese with tuna or beef and mushroom soup, people eat casseroles, spaghetti, canned foods, fish sticks, people have to eat and mac and cheese is part of that, there is nothing wrong with getting a great price on a one to 3 or 4 or five year supply, especially in families where two boxes are required per meal.
I’m so keeping that one
Does it get Monty Python episodes on that?

That is quite true
Hedonism is so stupid.
They’re idiots.
Yes, but no cheese....................
