"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.

Recent documents have shown that the Biden administration’s FBI opened an investigation into President Donald Trump and hundreds of his allies over their Jan. 6 activities, which included obtaining phone records and geolocations of prominent lawmakers.

Pennsylvania county on Tuesday was missing independent and third-party voters on poll books as they went to cast their ballots on Election Day.
Chester County independent and third-party voters were told their names were not on the voter roll, 6ABC reported. The issue is county-wide and has yet to be resolved.
Chester County Voter Services told the news outlet that supplemental poll books were being delivered to all 230 precincts as quickly as possible, and that independent and third-party voters were able to cast provisional ballots in the meantime.

The Federal Aviation Administration on Tuesday resumed flights at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport after shutting them down earlier over a security threat regarding a United Airlines flight.
The FAA issued a ground stop, freezing all departing flights from the airport between 11:18 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. ET, according to the alert, the Daily Mail reported.
Crystal Nosal, Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Media Relations, said in a statement, “All flight operations are being held at Reagan National while passengers on a United Airlines flight are being offloaded and bussed to the terminal. We will provide more information as it becomes available.”
In a recording posted on X between an air traffic controller and the plane’s pilot, the ATC said, “We have an unconfirmed bomb report for your flight. We’ve got to get you away from the airport.”
Flight radar around the airport showed several planes circling during the ground stop, while others were diverted to other locations.
The ground stop impacted about 820 flights, with maximum delays of 66 minutes and average delays of 33 minutes.
The airport announced that “our main runway reopened at 12:50 p.m.” and “flights are resuming,” ARLnow reported. The United Airlines flight that caused the concern had arrived from Houston.

US Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins said this week that 29 states complied with an earlier federal request to share Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) data to ensure illegal immigrants are not receiving benefits, while 21 Democrat-run states refused to do so.
Rollins discussed the matter during an appearance on Fox & Friends on Sunday. She said the USDA sent letters to all 50 governors in February, reminding them that federal law prohibits illegal immigrants from receiving SNAP benefits and asking states to provide data for a federal review.
Rollins said that 29 states complied with the data request, which resulted in the department uncovering “thousands” of instances of illegal SNAP use, including fraudulent EBT card activity. She added that nearly 700,000 individuals have been removed from the program since Trump took office, and about 118 arrests have been made in connection with fraud investigations.
“What this country has allowed is a national spotlight on a broken and corrupt program,” Rollins said. She added that investigators have also found more than 5,000 cases of individuals still receiving benefits after death.

Following a four-day trial, jurors found Kimani “Statik” Jones, 32, guilty of trafficking seven victims and transporting two, including a minor, across state lines for prostitution between August 2016 and November 2020. His father, Tremayne “Bayrock” Lambert, 50, was convicted of trafficking three victims between 2017 and 2020.
Both men face a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in federal prison and could receive life sentences. Three co-defendants previously pleaded guilty to related charges in what prosecutors described as a years-long criminal enterprise built on fear, manipulation, and abuse.
