This is the definition of fiddling around and finding out.
VIDEO AT LINK..................
Here's more from KTLA 5:
The victim, who did not want to be identified, told responding deputies that a man in a dark-colored sedan was driving down the street at a high rate of speed when he suddenly stopped the vehicle near the location where he and his girlfriend had been walking.
The mugger jumped out of the car, gun in hand, and told the walker to give up his Rolex watch. He refused and then went for the gun.
Patrick McCloskey was working from home when he heard a woman screaming from the sidewalk.
'The chaos was so intense, I didn't know who jumped who,' he explained. 'I ran to the door to see what was happening. At that point, I hear her yell, "Get the gun, get the gun!"'
...
'But he didn't know that the guy was a retired wrestler,' McCloskey told KTLA's John Fenoglio. 'So, he was able to get the gun off the guy and wrestle him down.'
Dude brought a gun to a fist fight and still lost miserably!
He definitely picked the wrong guy to try and mug, that's for sure.
The victim, according to the WeHo resident, showed no mercy as the attempted robber struggled.
'At one point, the guy's arm got dislocated, and he just held him down,' he said.
Dude must have learned to fight at Cobra Kai!
Or maybe Rex Kwon Do!
In footage of the incident, the victim is heard telling a deputy that he took the gunman's wrist and put the man on the ground before taking the gun away. As his girlfriend threw the gun over a nearby fence, the retired wrestler held the suspect down until law enforcement arrived.
The suspect was arrested.
But it's Los Angeles, so I'm thinking there's a better-than-decent chance he'll be back on the street in, oh, say five or six minutes.

Heck the Lost Angeless Mayor will probably hire the thug as an expert on law enforcement.
Professional wrestling is fake — but the guys really are athletes. They know a thing or two because it helps them make the fake stuff look real.
Anarcho-tyranny from our terrorist Democrat "friends".
He won’t be using that arm if he does.

It’s not fake. It is kayfabe.
I wouldn’t have tried this stuff with Billy Robinson or Harley Race or any legit British shooter like The Adorable Adrian Street.
Wrestling fake? 🥲. I’m sad.
There goes my childhood.
“if everybody had a gun this wouldn’t happen”.
Exactly right.
And the wrestler arrested for committing a hate crime.
The girlfriend threw the gun over a fence??? What the heck is wrong with people… She’s a complete idiot
Hold onto the weapon and give it to the police or take it home and stash it for a throwaway gun
“The suspect was arrested.”
************
Only a minor inconvenience for the mugger. He’ll be back out on the street before the cop who arrested him gets off his shift.
The VICTIM will probably be charged with inflicting bodily harm. Screwed up LA.
‘At one point, the guy’s arm got dislocated, and he just held him down,’
That will not buff out.
Not something you or I would have done probably, but I can see a woman inexperienced in these things being in a state of fear and panic, just wanting to get the gun as far as possible from the perp so he wouldn't recover it.
Lack of concealed carry stop will allow crook to be back in business, probably in weeks.
Have they arrested the girlfriend for picking up the mugger’s gun and dropping over the fence yet?
Arrested the wrestler for breaking the guy’s arm?
Soon will happen.
I think scripted is a better word.
