@RandPaul
Like I told @cherylcasone on @MorningsMaria, Republicans ran against Biden’s reckless spending… then adopted his spending levels. I won’t. $38 trillion in debt isn’t sustainable. It’s a threat to our economy and our dollar. I’ll keep voting no until Washington gets serious about balancing the budget.

And ban the OP. We're tired of libertarians on a conservative site.
"Name something he has accomplished in the past year."
One word to describe this guy: Irritating.
Nothing gets done while the government is shut down...and some Kentuckians are royalley p***** by now. You vote for THEM...and they want it opened.
It’s really this simple folks....
REVENUES in 2025 = $5.2T
EXPENDITURES in 2019 = $4.4T
If we simply spent what we spent in 2019 (which was still WAYYYY TOO MUCH) we would have an $800B surplus.
We have the House of Representatives
We have the Senate
We have the White House
We have the USSC
....and all Rand is asking for is a BALANCED BUDGET??????
In any “conservative” view, what Rand is asking for isn’t even enough.
But some “severe conservatives” here on FR will say that Rand is asking too much.
We are done. We lost.
I’m sure Rand knows that Congress is going to do nothing about spending so he should just advise people to start loading up on gold & silver for the inevitable collapse of our currency.
Your heros are cowards?
Heh heh, there is that.
His supporters fail to see he accomplishes nothing. He gets nothing done but to virtual signal.
But net effect, is no government budget. His vote is a symbolic NO. We don’t need a balanced budget. We need a NEGATIVE budget to pay off our debt.
Rand needs to have a comprehensive budget which pays down the deficit. Till then, he is effectually the taking sides with the Demonrats.
Don’t just complain. Do something appropriate.
Little Dutch Boy must not want our military to get paid. Fighting for his loser ass for free .
Conservatives for increased spending!
What makes Trump a conservative in Economics?
That’s not gonna be a popular attitude; it is correct, however.
I could get behind him, if he weren’t such a squish on aliens here illegally.

Illegals are economic liabilities. They cost us more than they contribute.
Remember this debate, where one of the candidates called aliens sneaking across our (welcomed from 2021-24) an “act of love”. lol JEB!
Let’s see his plan. We are 38 trillion in debt and he can solve it? I want to see on paper how he plans to backup his rhetoric with real numbers. @Randfan - you know so much about him, how about providing the link to his plan?
There are some libertarian ideas that are decent. Some libertarians that are engaging. RF doesn’t seem to be either. He just posts divisive and anti-Trump crap, or stuff that idolizes the stupidity of Rand or Massie while pretending they’re principled. It’s his normal schtick. Pretty sick.
You can say the same thing about pretty much every member of the U.S. Senate. NOBODY accomplishes anything on their own.
“Rand needs to have a comprehensive budget which pays down the deficit.”
**********************************
Actually he has such a plan and presented it to Congress.
Fine. You do as you like little Rand.
The budget deficit is solely caused by providing Medical Insurance. To balance the budget that is what we need to eliminate. Social Security pays for itself. IMHO.
