In the latest round of the NFL choosing to turn football into a political activity rather than just appeasing its furious conservative fans, the organization announced that the performer who will headline this year’s Super Bowl halftime show will be a cross-dressing, Trump-hating, pro-illegal immigration Puerto Rican singer who goes by the name “Bad Bunny.”
As background, the NFL was already in hot water with what few conservative fans it still has at the start of this season, as it announced that it would not be getting rid of the infamous “end racism” endzone slogans, or other social justice slogans of that sort, and it kicked off the first game of the season with a performance of the so-called “Black national anthem,” a very incendiary move.
Now, the NFL has further infuriated those fans with the extremely polarizing news that “Bad Bunny” will be the performer, as he is known for his spiteful comments directed against the Trump Administration and against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Particularly, the performer the NFL chose to headline the Super Bowl didn’t even include any tour dates in the United States because, he claimed, he was worried that his fans might be detained by ICE agents if they showed up. He said, speaking about that to the media, and using very vulgar language directed at ICE as he did so, “But there was the issue of — like, f*cking ICE could be outside [my concert]. And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about.”
Similarly, back in June of this year, he yelled in Spanish about ICE in a video posted to social media that showed what he claimed was a video of an ICE operation in a city in Puerto Rico, saying, “Look, those motherf*ckers are in these cars, RAV-4s. They’re here in Pontezuela.” He added, “Sons of b*tches, instead of leaving the people alone and working there.”
Predictably, the news that such a performer would be doing the Super Bowl halftime show led to an immense outpouring of conservative anger on X. Amongst those who noted the political nature of what was announced was Jack Posobiec, who wrote, ‘Barack Obama’s best friend Jay-Z runs the Super Bowl selection process through his company Roc Nation which has an exclusive contract with the NFL. This is who chooses the halftime show, the most-watched musical performance in America.”
Another who sounded off on the NFL over the decision was Benny Johnson, who wrote, “This is Bad Bunny. He was just announced as the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show. – Massive Trump hater – Anti-ICE activist – No songs in English. He even canceled his entire U.S. tour for this reason: ‘F***ing ICE could be outside my concert. And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about.’ The NFL is self-destructing year after year.”
Others chimed in as well. One, for example, joked that there would be “Undercover ICE agents waiting to arrest Bad Bunny during his halftime performance.” Still another said, in a post calling for a boycott of the league, “I think it’s time people boycott the @NFL. I know we love our football. But sometimes we have to take a stand.”

Super bowl will be in the SF area. Perfect for them.
I’m still rooting for a Bills/Lions Superbowl.
One of them would have to win!
A superbowl ICE crackdown sounds delightful.
It would be interesting to do a poll of how many freepers are still addicted to this crap.
My guess is at least 60%.
Didn’t Bugs Bunny have a bad cousin in one of the short cartoons?
Every year, the NFL insults our culture, yet, every year, patriots still tune in. I don’t get it.
I was an avid Los Angeles Rams fan back when George Allen was the coach, Roman Gabriel was the quarterback, and the Fearsome Foursome led the defense. Nowadays, other than rooting for the Washington Football Team to lose every game, I couldn’t give two hoots about pro football.
NFL STUPIDITY.
Many of my conservative friends also go to Target and do Disney.
Here’s an idea, contract with Drum Corps International (DCI) and program their previous year Champion corps, for 2025 its the Boston Crusaders, to perform the halftime show at the Super Bowl. 15 minute show, they move their own equipment/props on and off the field, no external special effects or lighting required, great honor to perform, extra incentive to win the competition. No controversy, no politics, great music, great drill, great athleticism, great musicians, great entertainment, everybody wins.
Here’s a couple videos:

“scorched”, get back to me when they start losing money! Get woke, go broke!
I was once that way, long ago, before I decided to start living my principles.
Goodell is trash.
I vote with my pocketbook.
Back in 1992 there was no huge halftime show at the Superbowl on CBS., just talking heads and commercials. FOX aired a live episode of In Living Color, encouraging Superbowl viewers to switch channels during halftime with the promise that the show would end in time for the start of the second half. It worked so well, that the NFL has ever since had a big star-studded halftime show.
I think there’s a huge opportunity for another network to do the same thing this year. Can you imagine if ABC said “If a cross-dressing Trump-hating, pro-illegal immigration, Spanish language-only performance isn’t your thing, switch to ABC at the end of the first half for a special episode of Shifting Gears. Don’t worry we’ll get you back to the game by the start of the second half.”
The response would be enormous, just like in 1992. It would send a powerful message to the NFL to knock this crap off.
Haven’t watched a NFL game in many years. I might watch the game if the Steelers are in it, but I wouldn’t watch the halftime show if they had Playboy bunnies.
I vote with every breath I take, every move I make, every channel I change and, yes, every penny I spend.
😂😂😂😂
Gambling
NFL was great.
I was a fan in the years when it equalled and overcame baseball in popularity.
Now - it’s become a garish reality show,
Like a trained bear in the circus wearing silly costumes- nfl players wear pink
shoes and support faggotry so the lefties can show how they took the toxic
out of toxic masculinity.
I drifted away from it just like i did from baseball and basketball- I find it uninteresting and not entertaining- gambling will kill it.
I’d rather go to Florida and watch dog racing.
